It's super affordable and pays for itself over and over. There is no overwhelming smell, and the smell that is there quickly disappears. It's long lasting and you can paint over it. I don't have to wait for my husband to do anything that needs to be sealed since it's so easy to work with. DAP products are great to have on hand for home improvements and I highly recommend them!

I was excited to receive the DAP 100% silicone sealant from Influenster because some of the fixtures in my bathroom needed to be resealed. Since this product is waterproof and designed for kitchen and bath applications, I decided I would use it to replace and reseal the cracked silicone that was around one of my toilets. I removed as much as I could and cleaned it before applying. I will say that I have done similar projects before, so I wasn't completely "new" to a job like this. I thought that the silicone sealant was easy to use and easy to apply, and I didn't have much of a hassle cleaning up after smoothing everything out. I'm confident I achieved a water tight seal. I let it air dry for a few days, and I think the finished look is good. It did have an odor, but it didn't really bother me as I had the fan going and made sure I had good ventilation. Overall, I'd say the DAP 100% silicone sealant is a good investment for those looking to replace or reseal their kitchen and/ or bathrooms. I appreciate that, unlike other sealants, it won't split. If you haven't tried this brand before, I say it's worth the investment for anyone who likes to DIY.

We have been using DAP products for years and this one is a must have. Get yourself a good caulking gun and insert the tube, cut the tip at a 45° angle for better spreading, make sure the surface is cleaned and dried well before applying, use good pressure when caulking to get a good amount of the sealant then use a caulking tool, smoothing tool or your fingers to smooth and shape the sealant. Fill the joints well and make sure there are no gaps or bubbles, use a damp cloth to remove any excess on the areas. Allow it to dry completely before painting. Once it cures well, it should give you a great long lasting seal that can be painted and is flexible and won't breakdown. DAP products are great to have on hand for home improvements and I highly recommend them!

so i placed the order,when order comes ....i got 1 tube,when it was a case price,then get told it was out of stock,yet they had one to send,then the story changed to ....it was an error in pricing. granted i got one tube freeand my money back,but obviously its not what i wanted
