Dap 18546 5.5 Oz Kwik Seal Plus® Kitchen & Bath Adhesive Caulk W/micro

I'm a retired contractor. My niche market were high rise condos on Chicago's Lakefront, some of which are designated landmark buildings like 800-900 N. Lake Shore Drive designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and others. Kitchen and bath remodeling was a huge part of my business. When I first discovered DAP Kwik Seal Plus I never used anything else. That it cleans up with water eliminated the sticky mess associated with pure silicone caulks. That it's paintable, resists mold/mildew is great too and doubles as an adhesive. I take enormous personal pride in my tile, stone and fixture installations and Kwik Seal Plus became a highly valued member of my 1 man team. Thank You DAP. You surely got this product right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use this to seal the shower features in my new install shower AND it was a easy to use and the cleanup was so easy also.. with water and a wash cloth and i like that it was 100% waterproof which will fight off the growth of stains and odor causing mold & mildew AND if i wanted to paint and use this! it will work also this is a must have product for sealing period!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a product I haven't tried, due to always buying cheap stuff. Undecided to strip my old caulking and redo it. It was harder to get out, but that's preferable over something runny. It was easy to smoothe out tho and that's a huge plus when making something look good vs like a amateur.

Our bathroom caulking was needing to be redone and we used this product- it is so easy to use and it looks good. I've added a picture so you can see the difference of the old and new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try out DAP's Kwik Seal Plus in the color clear. I was excited to try this out for a few different reasons. My bathroom sink need to desperately be re-calked. This sealant fights against the growth and stains caused by mold and mildew. It's also 100% waterproof and paintable. I used the 5.5 fl oz squeeze tube. It was extremely easy to squeeze out and I had no problem with the packing. When applied the sealant is white but after the sealant drys it becomes clear. I will be repurchasing this product again and again. And I will be telling family and friends about it. I attached some photos of before and after. Check them out :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many different types of caulk but this is my favorite. I love how easy it is to use and that I don't need a caulk gun. I can just put the cap back on and use it again. It really finished everything off well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to make some adjustments to the bathroom sink and once completed, we needed to adhere it securely in place. Normally, we would have to go get the caulk gun before starting but with the DAP Quick Seal Plus, we didn't need anything but the tube and a damp sponge. The caulk went on smoothly and evenly. It took us no time at all to finish up our project. We then let it set about a day or so before applying a light coat of paint. I feel it is much easier to control when using this tube instead of a caulk gun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok the product is all in one tube without the need of a caulk gun but the flow from the tube is not all that great and does not allow for a nice uniform line of the product. The tip if cut wrong will either not allow the product to come out of the tube or if you cut to much you will have a lot of product come out, maybe if the product had some black marks on it to show where to cut for the amount of product you desire this would be a good option.
