This was a requested birthday present that has been very well received by the recipient. The package includes all the episodes of Daria, providing many hours of enjoyment. Another plus is that it arrived in the mailbox on her birthday.

I forgot how sarcastic and cynical the 90s could be. What a flashback. I'm just disappointed in how long it took to arrive. I might go back to Amazon next time.

this is a great boxset for Daria fans not only does it have the whole series but also the two movies. their are a few downsides to this set the box packaging is kinda cheap but it's passable. Now the series itself is a great show it's hard to believe a show like this came from the same network that nowadays has given us such atrocities to the viewing senses as Jersey Shore. The one thing thats a letdown here is that the original music could not be used due to licensing which for the most part is only a minor letdown, but their are some parts of the series i miss it. Such as the episode "Road Worrier" where the loss of REM's song Everybody Hurts really hurts the scene it was used in. the loss of the music is a minor grievance i would rather have the whole series on DVD without the original music as to no series at all. The special features are kinda slim but what it does have are good. Overall even with the cheap packaging,loss of original music, and small amount of special features this is still worth purchasing if your a fan of the series.

I loved this show when it was on TV. It's great to actually own the entire series on DVD so I can watch episodes whenever I want. There are two things I miss though... The first thing I (barely) miss is the music, but the liner notes explains that the cost of that music would be prohibitive. The second thing has nothing to do with the show, but I wish the DVDs connected to VUDU so I could watch them whenever and wherever. Other than those two things, this was an amazing show and I now own it!

what a disappointment the first disc is not included, this item was supposed to b new,how can it be new if its missing the 1st disc. supposed to have 8 disc n it as 7 .
