Dark Walnut, Varathane Touch-Up Marker-215361

I dinged a cabinet and needed something to repair it. I tried different products but this stain marker is by far the best. It's expensive, but easy to use. Unfortunately it didn't work out because the colors didn't match. I'd suggest testing it prior to committing lol. It dried nicely but it was darker than what I needed. I did eventually find a different color that better matched. The image online and image on the package doesn't match. The stain is almost completely black not dark brown like it shows online. If your local store has it, then it's probably a good idea to look at the package colors instead. You have to be patient and precise. It took repeat vigorous shaking and pressing the tip down to get the stain to flow out initially. You have to be careful when applying because it dries super fast! It doesn't allow for mistakes. I applied then wiped the excess within 15 seconds and it was already stained. I ended up using a small fine tip painting brush to fill in the dinged spots so it would be more precise. I just pressed excess stain onto a disposable plate then dipped the brush in. It looked a lot better with that method. The stain can be used on any type of wood surfaces from floors to furnitures. By wood I mean real wood or something containing real wood particles. It does nothing to repair laminates.

I purchased to repair some scratches on a cherry-colored bookcase. I decided to try and color-match on a sanded piece of wood and compare to the color I needed. After i tweaked it a couple of times, I came up with t a good combination that matched. i would suggest using the method i did as I don't know if the color is adjustable after application.

i have a corner desk in my living room and the edges had started to get warm. The cherry wood color was perfect to use on hiding the warm edges and also scratches and nicks on the top. it worked very well and easy to use.

It works a lot better than I thought. I had some deep scratches on my wood floor and it covers them up pretty well and isn't visible at all to the naked eye. I suggest coloring in the scratches then using a damp cloth to rub it in.

The color was more of a light gray

I was double charged for this order. Annoying to have your hard earned money held up I will have to contact my bank which takes time.

They send me another color not the one i buy very disappointing don't recommend they should send for what paying very mad

Second one I've purchased and they both were dried up or empty!!!! Ridiculous
