The only thing that could make these Fudge Brownie bars better is if you could put little piece of fresh cherries in it. Then you could call them a Fudge Brownie with a Cherry inside! Truly delicious and filling. Don't change a thing (unless it is with a real cherry!)!!
At first I was disappointed- now I'm addicted. The taste had to grow on me. These are delicious, almost like a comfort food. The protein bang for the calorie buck is impressive. I have one every day. I alternate between 3 flavors because I can't decide which is my favorite: chocolate chip cookie dough, peanut butter chocolate chunk, and fudge brownie. All delicious.
I have been sampling all types of protein bars over the last year and these are by far my favorite. I like the taste, texture and most importantly the protein quantity. I find getting them directly is most effective as the times I have purchased at Walmart or Targe, the bars are drier and seem different. I will continue to do the buy 4 boxes, get one free, whenever I can.
This is the highest protein content, best tasting, most filling, least calorie count protein bar, literally. I mean ALL of those words. It is a great buy. I love the Fudge Brownie best, but there are other really good flavors too. I am so glad a friend introduced me to David Protein bars!
I have spent so much money on protein bars only to throw them away because they either tasted bad or were dry as a desert or both. David is the first protein bar that has taste and is not dry. I also bought the sample box and all the flavors were good.
This bar has the perfect balance of calories/protein/no sugar and fun! Its satisfying for a good 3/4 hours! without any digestive issues. I have recommended to my friends and clients ( Pilates instructor) and have used it in all of my trips and hikes as well. Love the David bar. I even sent it to my friend in Europe, who loves them as well.
The Fudge Brownie bar is very different from the Cookie Dough Caramel Chocolate Chip Bar. It has a nice chewy texture that's very satisfying. The Caramel Cookie Dough was better tasting and sweeter, but the Fudge Brownie had more protein. I enjoyed them both, and will no doubt purchase them both again (after I've tried a few more flavors!). They are so much better than the protein bars I used to use in days of old.
I have tried to reframe my opinion but the truth is they are not immediately tasty. I persevered and matched to eat about four over the course of three weeks. The hype was so good I was certain the bar would be as well. Nope! By about 1/2 way through my fourth bar, I couldn't do it any longer. I quit. My husband who is not a quitter has now acquired the taste for these. So you may like them! My Mom always said I was a picky eater.
These are horrible. The outside of the fudge bar was slimy as though it was coated in oil. Little white beads of something fill the fudge bar. The taste of alcohol sugars is in every bite and leaves that awful taste in your mouth. ugh. Finally, cost is outrageous. Tried 2 bars. Threw the rest in garbage. Back to PP shakes.
gross. I bought these as a recommendation for a hard protein bar with high protein and good ingredients. they aren't hard, they're gummy %26 grainy. I'll be donating these to the blessings pantry. I assume if I return the rest of the case, they will get discarded
