These are so good ( I really like almost all the David bars flavors!). They are extreme filling ( I can only eat 1/2 at a time- morning and afternoon snack !) I have not found another protein bar that has: highest protein of any bar Low/no sugar Low in calories ( for size of bar) They are worth the price as they are a better, bigger bar (%26 I have eaten Every protein bar on the planet :) I love the texture - different but better - Boyle grainy and no weird after taste !
High quality. Great taste. Hight protein. Low calories. You can't beat it. I've been ordering for almost a year. Salted peanut butter is my favorite but other flavors are great too but this one is it for me. Highly recommend. I'm not in anyway affiliated or paid for this recommendation.
I use David Bars as a 'dessert' almost every day after dinner for more than a year with a standing subscription. David bars keep me from venturing into higher calorie, lower benefit alternatives in the evening and have been a significant factor in my 45 pound weight loss in that time frame. Satisfying and delicious!
This is my favorite of the several flavors, though David bars do not claim to taste like dessert. Good taste, great ratio of protein grams to calories, very energizing. I learned about these from Arnolds emails.
I love the taste and the texture. I have decades of experience :joy: and find all of the flavors tasty, filling and a great source of protein. Thank you!
I tried the Salted Peanut Butter flavor for the first time, and I really like it. It's the most minimally sweet of the flavors I have tried, and that's sometimes exactly what I want.
Be sure to keep them in a cool place out of the sun. Flavor is good - hint of salt that really enhances the taste. Texture is chewy, traditional protein bar style. Higher protein count. This was the best price I've found by FAR!
I'm actually going to comment on the chocolate chip cookie dough bar. I chose this bar because there is more contrast in the photos. As you can see, one bar has seperated chocolate chunks and the other bar seems all blended together. Maybe they got hot during shipping?
When I first tried this protein bar at my gym, I loved its chewiness. After seeing on the label what a great protein to carb ratio it had, I decided to order a 12ct box to always have the product on hand. When the product arrived, I was so disappointed to find that it was no longer chewy but crunchy, a texture I find to be not as palatable. I still like the flavor and will probably finish the box but not purchase any more.
I often eat my David bars slowly to avoid a glucose spike (insulin resistant). I guess this confirms that these are made with real peanut butter, but these do get oily within a few minutes of being opened. Not a huge deal, but it changes the consistency and they do get slippery and leave your hands oily. But the taste is good. I'll be staying with the delicious fudge brownie bars.
