My late sister used to make these and they were truly delicious, so I was skeptical, but they are so close to hers that its an emotional experience for me. So glad I took the chance.
I think they taste very good. I'm not sure they are worth the calories. 80 calories for one tiny cookie
Cookies are DELICOUS but you only get about half of them because the container tin is delivered from FedEx inside a box without even being bubbled-wrapped so almost 1/2 the cookies are in crumbled pieces, some to the point of just being powdered crumbs. The price is pretty expensive for cookies - so very disappointed in what I received. If they were shipped the right way they would get 5 Stars PLUS for taste !!!
Was excited to receive this tin of David's cookies. However more than half were broken into little bits and pieces. Lots of crumbs on the bottom of the tin. Very disappointed.
Great taste, just more crums than cookies when arrived
Bought these originally from Costco store. Delicious melt in your mouth with white powdered sugar. Costco out so bought through Walmart.com. Cookies seem to have sat in hot warehouse for a while: were somewhat burnt, stale and sugar was brown. Ate em anyway. Ordered again through Costco and same problem with being burnt and brown. Think the problem is with David's. Have given these as gift in past without this problem. Would be embarrassed to give these.
Very upset and would give no stars if possible. These were supposed to be cookies but arrived as mostly “dust”. It's so bad that most of the cookies aren't editable. Broken cookies I could deal with but I would have to eat these with a spoon, literally. Complete waste of money for the little bit I was able to eat. See the pictures.
I have ordered these cookies for the last 3 years. normally they have been a great value for the money and are really delicious cookies. however this year when they came 1/3 of the cookies were smashed in the cookie tin. I ordered two tins and they were broken like that in both tins. I was so disappointed.
I wouldn't call these cookies. It's a box of crumbles that are largely dry and tasteless. I was very disappointed and wouldn't ever buy these again. Lesson learned.
Tasted stale, very little pecan, not worth the $$
