Bitter sweet. From a regular crib to a bed frame. This seems to be the best fit for our needs. Just my little boy and me. He adores his new hide out. Don't forget to get a mattress as the crib mattress on mine didn't fit. Everything else was just fine. No issues

We purchased this bed because of the great reviews. This bed is very strudy and high quality. I was very impressed with the quality. I would recommend this bed. Spend a little extra money and you will be very happy. Plus, this bed is darling! This is our 4th toddler bed we have had and it is by far the best. The cheaper beds available have trouble with the side rails spliting so easily. This bed the side rails are very durable and give us a peace of mind in safety. It was also easy for my husband to put together.

not sturdy enough for my liking. can not move around easily from the way it is connected down the middle. but i love it.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this bed. This had best feedback for durability and we haven't been disappointed. Relatively easy to assemble. Definitely recommend. My two year old daughter loves it...

I recently bought this bed for my 2 year old. They sell this bed everywhere but Walmart had the best price. Shipping said 7 days and it came in 3!!! Very good looking and super sturdy. Very happy customer :)

It is very easy to put together if you use the screw driver to line up the nut as if the screw being fed through. Be sure to use hand to screw any screw and not forcing it. Any angle would come to not able to screw in at all. If the internal threads did not match, just have to ask for the replacement parts from the MDB company.

I purchased my first DaVinci toddler bed for my oldest daughter two years ago. Just this past month a purchased a second one for my younger daughter. Overall the beds look nice and hold up pretty well. It is a little tricky to put together but I was able to do it in about an hour with 2 toddlers helping me. The girls did break one of the support slats under the mattress by jumping on one of the beds. We moved that slat to the end and haven't had any further problems. It would be nice if the screw holes were covered from an aesthetic standpoint but overall I am pleased with this product.

This bed looks really nice and is a great price (especially on Wal-mart)! The assembly wasn't too terrible, however, the instructions are not very clear. You really have to pay attention to which way pieces are facing and make sure it's correct before you screw it together. There are quite a few holes that show the screws (screws are inset). It's not terrible, but I do wish they had covers for it. My son loves his bed and it was a perfect transition for us and him. The guardrails are a little shorten than I was expecting, but it does keep him in for the most part. The first couple nights he had a hard time staying in the bed - but after that he has not fallen out again. Even when he did fall out, the bed is very low to the ground and he was never hurt. Toddler beds are short-lived furniture pieces, and this piece will definitely get us over the hump until he's ready for a larger, twin bed. And gives us extra space in his room, and lets us use his crib mattress.

Looks nice. My complaints are the smell. It's not super strong and in fact I didn't smell it until I left the room for hours and came back. It's taken about a week to mostly be gone but we could indeed smell it. The other complaint are the side rails. Each side is 2 pieces. Make it very weak and flimsy because it can flex and the only thing really holding it is 1 screw on the middle leg for each half. They should have just done a solid board and made the shipping box a bit bigger to not compromise strength. These are for kids. They are going to be rough.... We'll see how it holds up. Only other odd thing is some of the screw inserts (the part the screw goes into) I ended up putting in upside down because putting in correctly resulted in them not sitting flush and sticking up. They will work either way but tells me things aren't aligned the best.

This fits the exact need we had for our daughters room that will soon be shared by her little sister. She loves the bed and has slept great three nights in a row in it so far. Putting it together was ok, my husband commented a few times that the construction was a little poor. Or that the way they made you put it together was cumbersome. Took him about a half hour to 45 minutes to get it all together.
