Dawn Ultra Antibacterial Hand Soap, Orange, 28 fl oz

Our family has been using the Orange Scent Dawn Ultra for several years now. It is the best cleaning dishwashing soap by far compared to all the other products on the market. We prefer buying the 40oz bottle when it is available as you save money over buying the smaller bottles of Dawn. The demand is high for the Orange Scent, so you'd better stock up when you see it on the store shelves. Dawn is number one on our list.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Dawn Ultra Antibacterial Orange hand soap and dish washing liquid! It smells amazing and lathers wonderfully. I have tried off-brand dish soaps and nothing beats Dawn. It makes washing dishes so easy and cleans well. I also love that it is gentle enough to use as a hand soap as well. It also last awhile because you don't need to use much to get a good, clean lather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this soap for hands and dishes, it has a delicious orange aroma that it leaves on my hands, I have the soap in my kitchen sink, and I also wash the dishes with it! and these are super happy because it leaves them completely clean, without grease, and what I like the most is that it does not dry out my hands after using it. really recommended them because I can use it both ways, on my hands and on my plates! plus it is an antibacterial soap. I really recommend it!

I love the fresh orange scent. Lasts forever, as just a tiny bit produces tons of suds. Interesting that this “Hand Soap” is nestled in right next to dishwashing liquid. I use it for both. Sometimes I have crystal or other fragile objects that can't go in the dishwasher, but even if the label says nothing about removing grease, it does a wonderful job. And the fact that it's antibacterial is an added plus. The 50% Less Scrubbing statement on the front is a little confusing. Do they mean I don't have to work as hard to get suds! I consider it a dual product, as it's a great hand soap as well as a great dishwashing liquid. For those of you wanting a “grease” fighter, I simply rinse the item needing degreasing in extremely hot water and problem solved. The Dawn antibacterial hand soap cleans it perfectly well. Well priced .

I also love that it can be used as antibacterial hand soap. I will definitely buy more of this dish detergent the next time I go shopping. I would definitely recommend it!

I have always tried to discourage my kids from washing their hands in the kitchen sink, using dish soap, because of the lack of antibacterial properties. This soap has changed the way my family washes their hands. The orange scent is wonderful and refreshing, and like other Dawn products, it does not leave a residue on hands or scent on dishes. This antibacterial soap gets hands clean and dishes at the same time. This is by far the greatest recent creation by Dawn!

it's dish soap. some varieties are anti-bacterial as well, so they can work well as a sanitizing hand soap in addition to other purposes. as for the "active ingredient/purpose" confusion, those are not separate assertions regarding the product. the active ingredient is chloroxylenol. the purpose of chloroxylenol is as antibacterial hand soap..but it also handles dish bacteria. it's one product with antibacterial wins for both hands AND dishes. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always like the Dawn dish washing soap because it's so powerful in removing grease especially from the pots and pans. The only thing I don't like with this one is even though it's labeled orange scent but it's not really smells like the orange. But overall, what's matters to me it has a powerful cleaning reagent.

I ordered 2, but received 1 Dawn orange and a larger Dawn green.

You told some other customers that it says hand dishwashing liquid right under the brand logo. Well, no it doesn't. Under the logo it says antibacterial hand soap. The only place it says dishwashing liquid is at the bottom where it reads; Orange scent vs Dawn non-concentrated dishwashing liquid. (Photo 1) NOWHERE on the bottle does it say anything about cutting grease on dishes. Even on the back label (Photo 2), it only has directions on how to use for hand washing. And above that it says "Purpose" antibacterial hand soap. See attached photos.
