We have a large family, and Dawn Antibacterial is a must to keep everyone, from kids to adults, healthy. The apple blossom scent is nice too.
I've been using Dawn dish washing liquid for YEARS! I've used others, but none have compared to Dawn. In 60 years, 50 of which I've been washing dishes. 42 as a mom, wife, and homemaker, I've been exclusively dawn. Before that, I was in my mothers home. She used whatever. Didn't care. Once I had my own family, it mattered what I used. I chose Dawn. I even refill!
Nothing to dislike about this product. It's genuinely the best dish washing liquid on the market. It's antibacterial, no residue and it cleans tough grime on dishes and clothing. The scent is very nice!
I originally ordered a single bottle but you substituted the single 70.oz bottle with two smaller 38.oz bottles that totalled more product than what I paid for. You substituted with the same exact product in a different packaging with additional product, for the same price. Product was undamaged and pristine.
I've used the original blue Dawn detergent religiously for decades, but my store was out of it when I needed to buy more. The Apple Blossom was the only option left and I almost put it back on the shelf when I read "hand soap," but assumed it was a double-duty product when I read "dishwashing liquid" further down the label. I finally ran out of the blue detergent and simultaneously ran out of hand soap in my sink dispenser, so pulled this out to refill it. Once again, I was confused about whether it was actually JUST a hand soap or also a dishwashing liquid, so I scrutinized the label once more. I see that The Dawn Team continues to insist "It says hand dishwashing liquid right under the brand logo." No, it most definitely does not say that—not under the brand logo nor anywhere on the product labeling. In fact, the "Purpose" indicates only "Antibacterial hand soap" and the "Use" indicates "for handwashing to decrease bacteria on the skin." Nowhere except for "DISHWASHING LIQUID" on the front label does this product appear to actually be for dishwashing. Most consumers don't feel compelled to have to read the "Purpose" and "Use" for a product they've already used many times, and had I felt the need to do so at the time, I would not have made this purchase. I have not yet used this product on dishes, and if I find that it doesn't cut grease with the same effectiveness as the original blue formula, I may feel inclined to request my money back. Incidentally, I have a 20-year career as a professional proofreader for advertising content and this makes me believe that you are either intentionally trying to mislead consumers to sell product or your QC protocol is utterly inadequate. Either way, your loyal consumers deserve better.
I have purchased Dawn dishwashing liquid in the past, and had intended to get a bottle today (my husband always beats me to it, and he buys something else). So I go to grab a bottle of the apple scent, and catch the same error on the bottle that I see was reported SIX years ago!! (And they said they were going to fix it.) I just caught it. I'm sure they think most people don't give a crap and just grab and go, but I was actually looking at the label, and there it is, clear as day: HAND SOAP. And on the back, the directions say that it is for use in washing hands. Nothing about dishes. Yes, there's a small reference to dishwashing liquid on the lower part of the label, but unfortunately they moved the footnote down lower, making it look like the dishwashing reference is part of the footnote: "*vs. Dawn non-concentrated dishwashing liquid." The label version I was looking at in my grocery store was different from the one here. I'd attach a photo of the label version I saw, but that feature isn't working for me. You can see it on the Staples website, though. Since I couldn't be sure what the product was, I didn't buy it. Dawn, please fix your labels, and hire a proofreader next time.
The label says "dawn ultra antibacterial hand soap 50% less scrubbing apple blossom scent *vs Dawn non concentrated dishwashing liquid". What is this? Hand soap, dishwashing soap, both. Is chloroxylenol safe to use on dishes?
when i received my dish soap it wasted in the bag so i have soap in the bag
it was leaking
I am unable to review this product as the delivery driver threw it in the corner of the mailroom and it broke and leaked all over everything and made a mess. WalMart delivery is the worst. It did smell good though.
