I purchased the twin side. easy to set up took about 2 hours. very sturdy. A 8 to 10 inch mattress would be best. There is a 6 in gap between the wall and a twin size mattress. I wish i would have known this. Anything smaller will slide under the headboard and will expose the railing where the mattress sets and can hurt knees or sheen. The trundle connects really well and very easy to set up. Great extension.

This daybed was very easy to put together I love it for the guest room. That also will be my reading room

I got this for a spare room for guests to stay on. I love it. I would suggest getting 6-7” mattresses for it. I went with 5 and I wish I would have gotten bigger but I couldn't find anything that specifically said for this bed what to use.

The bed was easy to assemble alone, although I did have help fitting the wooden pieces in place. It came in two boxes which were delivered different days, but arrived five days early.

Easy assembly. Beautiful well made bed.
