A miracle for odors on clothing or pet bedding etc. If in a job that requires lots physical exertion...sweating..even working out..exercise.this only thing that works! Have tried them all!! Does not cover odor but removes odors..meant for hunters not allowing any animals etc know u r in area! Worth buying if have any odor probs in house..clothing.etc!!

Originally we purchased this for washing hunting clothes, but then we had kids. This is a staple in our laundry cupboard now. Kids pee the bed? Use Dead down wind (DDW) Dogs make a blanket gross ? DDW, stomach bug? You know what to do. Any hard to clean smells are no match for this stuff. It also doesn't bother my kids with sensitive skin.

this works great for cleaning your hunting clothing after the hunt. It gets out dirt, mud, blood, and unwanted smells. importantly it does not have uv enhancers that can ruin your gear, and it's safe to use on fabrics like gortex. I highly recommend this detergent

This stuff is AMAZING! It's not just for hunting, either. I've used this for carpet doggy accidents, cigarette smoke, baby clothes accidents, etc. This stuff is so good, it can remove odors from everything I've tried so far. I wash stuff with it, I spray stuff with the spray, I shampoo the carpet with it for pets, I wash their bedding/collars in it. The scary part? Walmart is putting all of these brand products on clearance! That usually means they're discontinuing a product. I hope not, because nothing works this well at getting rid of stinky dog odors!

My husband loves this product to get his clothing ready for hunting! I like it if anyone has used a smelly deodorant or perfume on their clothing. Gets rid of all of these problems! My adult children use if when they go to a laundromat, so that smelly washers don't stink up their clothing (since son-in-law is chemcially/smell-sensitive). This is a very good product!

This was a great purchase. This product was recommended to me to get unwanted odors out of clothes. It worked great. It only requires a small amount of detergent. After my stepmother passed 8 years ago, my father took up smoking again. He had quit for over 40 years. My dad was quite nose blind. My dad and stepmom also had a menagerie of small dogs living in the house. My dad was quite nose blind. When my father passed this fall, I struggled with laundering the smell out of items family members wanted to keep. I washed things several times in Tide. I even added Borax, Laundry Soda and white vinegar to the wash. The smells remained. When I switched to using Dead Down Wind, almost every item was odor free after the first wash. A few items required a second wash. After washing in Dead Down Wind the items were scent free, completely scent free. I hung them to dry and to wait to see if the smell would come back over time. It's been 7 months and I am pleased that my sister and I are able to wear dad's favorite sweatshirts!

I have been using this product for years on my hunting garments and waterproof rainwear. It is not harsh on material and has no smell.

Decent product, just not perfect.
