Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover 5.0 oz

I used this product as an ingredient in my homemade detergent. Shredded with a cheese grater and mixed with other ingredients like baking soda, washing soda, borax, and essential oils (I used mango and apple) it makes a budget friendly, safer and effective alternative detergent! Works great!

This unassuming bar of soap is incredibly effective at getting stains out of clothing/fabric. From stubborn red clay dirt to underarm stains and more, Fels Naptha with a scrub brush, a little hot water and some elbow grease gets the stain out! It also smells good.

Use for decontaminating clothes/shoes after contact with allergy-causing plants like poison ivy/oak/sumac, mango, parsnip, hogweed, etc. Old-school but it really works!! Wear gloves and hand wash/soak items to remove the plant oils. Technu products work really also, but are much more expensive.

I can't do laundry without this stuff! it is absolutely amazing at getting EVERY stain out! I use two ways one, in my homemade laundry soap ( one bar fels-naptha, one bar white zote, washing soda and borax, 2 cups each) and I always have a chunk of a bar for rubbing directly on stubborn stains. Total game changer especially with kids!

My Mother used fels naptha in every load. She'd just grate a little off the bar and it makes a fantastic laundry booster. She also scrubbed us with it after playing outdoors because it removes the oils from poison oak or ivy before you have a chance to. have a reaction! Great stuff. I'm glad it is still available after all these years!

My friend shared how well this worked on her kids dirty soccer uniforms to get out mud and grass stains, so I figured for the price it was worth a shot! Yesterday, I rubbed the bar of soap on my daughters Halloween costume sleeves after the stains have been set in for a year. To my surprise all of the stains came out and the sleeves were white again and looked brand new- this was even on a delicate wash. Would totally recommend this to others!

When I was a kid, Fels Naptha was something you used in the bathtub when you had poison ivy. It still has a waxy feel and tan color and it's larger than most soap bars. Not a wimpy bar that winds up as a sliver. It is a great at removing tough stains when hand washing laundry. the formula may have changed over the years but there is still kind of a clean scent. (I wouldn't say it's a "fresh" scent.)

It has been around for more than 50 years. It really works on most stains. I scrub until the stain disappears and leave the soap on there. Throw it in the hamper. It comes off in the wash. My daughter uses it on the baseball uniform clay works great.

Bought this along with a washboard for my newborns clothes as a first time mom. before using this, just throwing the clothes into the wash i'd still see mustard stains from the poo and stuff on my daughters clothes. after washing with this soap and scrubbing a little bit the poo comes right out and i've never seen another mustard stain again on her outfits!! 10/10 recommend for first time moms trying to make sure their child's clothes are clean!!

was so happy to find.this soap is still available. growing up it was used instead of all the sprays %26 various products that are out these days. the bare lasts a long time. just wet the clothing, rub the bar on soiled areas and rub- create skme.friction to clean before throwing item in washer- or hand wash %26 dry .
