DecorRack Plastic Sink Protectors, 12" x 11" Kitchen Sink Mat, Gray (2 Pk)

We searched to find a sink protector to replace the one that had served its purpose for many years. The new sink protector checked most of the boxes. Color is the only item on our initial "want" on our list that we were unable to find. We wanted an almond color. However, finding the white color proved to be difficult to locate. So we are very pleased with our final selection. We escaped by not having to accept a black sink protector in order to meet the other items on our initial "want" list.

Overall these mats are very sturdy and the material used is very good overall. They do sit up well in our sinks. Be sure you measure the sinks that these or any other mats will be used in to be sure they will fit properly as you expect. I wish they came in other colors including white but gray works out well in our kitchen.

We really like the way these sit inside the sink. They don't drag, letting water %26 debris escape. My old ones would trap debris and would end up forcing me to scrub underneath to prevent mold.

I have been using these sink mats for many years. They are durable and protects glass dishes from being broken. I put them in the top rack of dishwasher for easy cleaning. I do highly recommend these sink mats.

good value. it fits and looks fine . this is the second time I bought. I had one for over 2 years a piece finally broke off.

The plastic is stiff. I'm afraid if I put something hot on it, it will melt. The ones I had before were rubbery and contoured better with the sink.

They work as they should. Plastic is stiff, and not flexible. I doubt that they will last very long. These will work for now until I find a better replacement.

Like many other reviewers also stated, these smaller sink mats used to be made by Rubbermaid and they were more flexible, eventually kind of molding to the sink. The Rubbermaid version holes were also evenly matched to the sink. These gray mats are okay - one will be underneath a dish tub where we put some of our dishes that are hand-washed, but on the other side of the sink, this gray mat is too stiff to put anything but a plate on - anything that stands up will fall over. I'll be keeping the gray mats as extras, and will try putting the old black Rubbermaid mats in the dishwasher to clean them. They usually last 3 or 4 years, until they start getting mildew on them, which is when I replace them. (I do not use bleach but Pine Sol works pretty good.) However, for reasons unknown, the softer, silcone sink mats only come in a bigger size that won't fit in my sink, and these are the only approx 11" x 12" mats that I could find, checking several online vendors. They weren't expensive so I'll keep them but I think for most of us who are used to the Rubbermaid mats, these are a disappointment. The first picture is my current Rubbermaid mat, the second picture is this new mat that is stiff plastic. You can see it doesn't quite line up, either.

the originals were made by rubbermaid and were rubber. they were awesome! these are plastic; they don't sit in the sink the same way because they are plastic. can't set anything glass on them because plastic is hard so glassware rolls together. i wish rubbermaid made these again.
