Easy to use makes perfect brew every single time. Heat your cup. This seems simple but sometimes simple is best. I have used this a few times and each time the results are perfect. You can do ground or the equivalent of pods. Very well made easy to operate.
I got this for my work office. This makes one delicious espresso / Americanos. And best of all, my office smells like a coffee shop all day! Great return on investment and the machine is super easy to use
Great for at home espresso and lattes. Easy to use makes a great cup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few days ago I received my De'Longhi ECP3630 15 Bar Pump Espresso Machine with Premium Adjustable Frother and I love preparing my espresso in it, it's great, it's easy to use. You can prepare either a small or large espresso as you prefer, I am not an expert barista and I have managed to prepare delicious coffees, I like how it prepares the cream, it is very foamy, I like that it does not take up too much space, it is easy to clean, It's very luxurious, it's the best espresso machine I've had, I'm very excited about this machine, it looks great in my kitchen. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi espresso and cappuccino machine is one of a kind. First thing I did was reading the instructions manual. I really like that the instructions are illustrated and easy to follow. Once I did the machine setup, I proceeded to brew my first espresso and I was surprisingly good at it. I guessed is because of the great instruction manual and my ability to learn quick. I noticed that the machine was ready to be use really fast right after turn dial to ON position, no time wasted. The De'Longhi espresso machine have very cool features, like a double tray to accommodate a taller glass. The advantage of brewing two cups at the same time. A cup warmer to pre-heat your cups and a storage tray. I can brew my espresso using pre-ground of E.S.E Pod espresso. Also, the machine have the ability to deliver hot water. My brewing experience was amazing and gratifying. I highly recommend this machine.
Great little machine. If you use the pressurized baskets, it's easy to make good espresso, especially for milk based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, since the steam is strong. If you want to get into advanced mode, and get into the work of making really good espresso, it will do what any single boiler machine will do, and the next one up in price is $450. If it had PID temperature control and low pressure pre-infusion, like the Breville Bambino, it would cost at least $300. (The Bambino does not use a boiler to heat the water. I tried the Bambino and didn't see any improvement, but I didn't work with it very long). If it also had pressure control it would cost you maybe $ 400. To get into advanced mode you will need a good grinder - a good manual one will run you at least $60, an electric one at least $160. All the Delonghi ecp 32xx, 34xx, 36xx, and Stiloso machines have the same internals so the difference in price is due to cosmetics and plastic content on the covers. I bought the ecp 3630 ( all stainless ) for $149 when it was on sale. I think it's $190 - 200 now: the prices fluctuate alot. Finally, It's a wonderful hobby, and coffee this rich is really a treat. Just be sure and descale your machine periodically to keep it running properly. And if you go off into advanced mode, be patient with yourself. It takes time, but there are so many good resources on-line, tomscoffeecorner.com in particular.
This is my second one. My first one lasted 3 years and a move of 1000 miles. Use it twice daily. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Only takes up a small area. I fit a coffee cup on mine so I can make a latte
I am very happy with this machine. It makes a nice espresso for cappuccino, lattes and macchiatos. I use pre-ground Lavazza espresso. Follow the directions to get the best result. After watching some videos about this machine, I purchased a bottomless filter, a heavy tamper and an espresso scale. These also works well for me. I use 15 grams of Lavazza and 30 grams of water. If you're using the portafilter that comes with the ratio is 1Xbeans to 2X water. So a single is 6 grams coffee 12 grams water. The double portafilter cannot be put into the machine with more than 12 grams of coffee. The spoon that comes with the machine holds about 6 grams. I find that with the grind of this Lavazza, 16grams of coffee is the max that will fit in the bottomless portofilter. A disadvantage of the machine is the weight. To install the portofilter, you need to stabilize the machine with one hand while putting it in.
Was sent a machine that was used before, because there is milk spray on outside of frother and on other parts of machine
We had 20 cockroaches come crawling out the Walmart box that this was delivered in. They scattered all over or house where we had to chase to remove. Walmart customer service have done absolutely nothing to resolve, apologies or rectify this issue. If you want cockroaches delivered, order here.
