I just received the Delta Children flat top changing table with casters in the grey color and I absolutely love it! The color is AMAZING! This changing table also comes with a changing pad that can be safely attached to the top table. This pad also has a strap so you can make sure your baby is safe while changing them. There are 4 wheels (or casters) on the bottom and they move easily along carpet, which is great when you want to rearrange your furniture. Assembly was pretty easy. The instructions were easy enough to follow. I really like the fact that it includes pictures of each step. This also comes with all the hardware you need to assemble it. The only tools you need are a Phillips Screwdriver and an adjustable wrench (if you are attaching the pad.) It took me about 45 minutes to put the entire table together. I included pictures of the box unopened so you can see how it comes in the mail. I also included pictures of the box opened, the parts all set out before assembly, and a picture of the completed changing table. Bottom line, this changing table is great! I give it two thumbs up! It seems pretty sturdy and seems like it will be able to last a long time. The design of the table is pretty modern too so I think when your baby stops wearing diapers, this piece of furniture can be used for many other things like clothes or toy storage. Get this table! You won't regret it! =)
I'm so glad I decided to get this changing table. I just wish I had gotten it when my baby was a newborn and not later, now there's Less back aches and it's easy to change my baby on. It's big enough for my long 7 month old and it's sturdy. I like that it comes with wheels which makes moving it around very easy. I also like that it has shelfs for storage.
When I first took it out of the box I was unimpressed. The first things I took out were the shelves. The first one which was the top shelf where you would change the baby wasn't too bad, but when I took out the bottom two they seemed rather thin and flimsy. However, when I got to putting it together and realized there were metal brace pieces for under the shelves that made all the difference in the world. It is nice and sturdy once it's all together. It has a nice finish on it but I think I would prefer the white to the silvery grey that I got. It is spacious and the pad isn't too thick so that it lessens the depth of the top which will mean less chance of a baby rolling off. I like the fact that it has the strap to secure the baby with also. I do wish however that there wasn't printing on the top surface of the pad or that it came with a cover because it takes away from the look of the table. It is a very nice changing table but I must admit when I saw it a baby changing table was not what I was thinking about. I don't have any little babies around as my little ones are all grown but I was looking for something to use for organizing things in one of my craft areas and as soon as I saw it that is what I thought of and as you can see from pictures I'm attaching it works great. I love the fact that it has casters too since until my craft room is ready I have my stuff divided up in two areas of my house and the casters makes this easy to move from one area to another. For those of you who are looking for a changing table I hope that this also shows you a dual purpose for this piece of furniture well after the little ones are grown.
Absolutely gorgeous piece of sturdy furniture.
The Delta Children Flat Top Changing Table with Casters is a nice little changing table. The Delta Children Flat Top Changing Table with Casters gives you two shelving units to hold diapers, clothes, etc. When I first got the table and started to pull it out of the box to assemble, I thought it was not going to be very stable. Once we got the table back together the table was surprisingly stable. We opted not to install the wheels to the unit. We don't like the idea of it rolling around much and want it to stay in one place. The color we got was a light gray. At first we thought what an odd color, but now that it is together we like the color. There are nice metal supports that go under each shelving section and two of them go under the changing table area for added support. We did have one issue with the unit, and that was that the seatbelt did not come in the package. We contacted Delta and they shipped us out a whole new set of hardware, where the seatbelt should have been. Overall we like the unit and would definitely recommend it to others.
This changing table is fairly easy to put together. Took under an hour. We got it in white. Very clean & simple design - looks like Mission Style. It's sturdy & looks like the product photos. We got this table to keep at our house for grandchild when she comes to visit. It sits in a room with all white furniture and fits right in. I sewed a pretty slipcover for the pad but the existing pad is very adequate. The existing pad has a safety strap but I don't really think it's necessary and the new slipcover covers that anyway. I like the lower bars on the front. Plenty of storage for baby supplies, little toys, etc on the shelves. The casters are nice because we can move it to another room easily if we want to but we have it sitting securely on a rug right now. It's a decent height - about 40 inches tall so it's counter-height. No bending over for Grandma :). The length of the changing area is a little over 3 feet & we have it positioned caddy-corner in a room right now. Looks very nice. We hung a mobile over the top from an old fashioned hanging light hook that was still in the ceiling of the room. Looks cute & baby has something to gaze up at while being changed. The front bar is nice & low & I don't bump my elbows or hike my shoulders when changing the baby. I'm petite - about 5'3" so it's a good height for me to use. I would recommend this changing table to anyone looking for a nicely made, sleek looking piece of furniture for their little one's nursery.
This changing table was fairly easy to assemble, and the instructions were easy to follow. I love that it comes with casters so it doesn't scratch my hardwood floors when I need to move it. And the added metal braces for the shelves and changing top are a wonderful addition. I will be using this for my craft supplies as I'm older and not expecting any babies. It is very stylish and at the price it is a very good value. The shelves are slightly deeper than an average bookcase, and I like that for my supplies. I also love that I can put things on the top and not worry about them being accidentally knocked off. I can see many uses for this, besides it's original intent. I'm extremely happy with it and would recommend it.
Sturdy product, was a little curious because of price but is very much get the job done
THE CRIB SEEMS STURDY. THE BABY CHANGE SIGN LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED: WHEN THE COVER FILM IS REMOVED, THE LETTERING BEHIND IT ALSO PEELS OFF. I AM HAVING TO PAY TO HAVE SUCH A SIGN MADE.
Defective. I have to fix the part by my self to make it work.
