Delta Diverter Showering Component Faucet in Chrome U4922-PK

Works great and feels solid. It was easy to install, though I did need to use plumber's tape because I had some small leaks at first. I couldn't get the lever tight enough while keeping it in the position I wanted — with the adapter point facing down and the lever on the side. The lever switches easily between my main shower head and handheld. The diverter feels well made.

I bought this fitting so I could connect a shower hose for self-care reasons. My hose hasn't came yet neither has my attachment. Although I'm impressed with the quality of the valve and it is exactly what I was shopping for.

I have used many different brands of diverters on this shower. They last less than a year. I checked reviews on this diverter and tried it. So far this has been the best I have had. The valve operation is smooth, and it doesn't leak in the opposite direction of use. The main construction of the valve is metal not plastic. I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago.It is so very easy to turn the diverter from shower head to hand held shower. A very smooth motion with no effort involved. Finally I don't have to fight with my diverter changing from shower head to hand hold shower !!

I got this about two weeks ago. It seemed well made in my hand, but it does not divert the water to the hand held (downward) opening. I've seen scores of reviews on other sites that say likewise. This is curious. As influenced by my dad who was an aircraft engineer and pilot (WWII and Korea) to examine finished work carefully, I have been struggling to understand how there can be so many bad reviews of a product that works well for roughly 75% of purchasers. I have used a tiny allen wrench to loosen the set screw, and have found performance improved when I replaced it in certain positions. My conclusion it that the assembly process does not have a quality control step to assure the item functions as intended. Not that every piece must be water tested before sale, but the factory should be randomly testing under actual conditions. I believe some workers are performing the steps incorrectly and no one is catching this.
