Depend Original Guards for Men, Maximum Absorbency, Surge Protection and Original Fit, 104 Count

Walmart is blending reviews from the original and newer redesigned products. Even this review site says “original” in the title with a picture of the new version. The new version as everyone is saying is quite terrible compared to the older design. Fortunately, Walmart still has old stock available. Search for the description “original” in the title and you will get the old type. They come in packs of 52 with 2 per case if you bundle. Buy them while you can still get them. Just bought 8 cases of them.

I use these guards on top of “Just Because” overnight pads, that both go into the Depends maximum 30x absorbency disposable underwear. They last 12 hours that way with no leakage or discomfort for my Uncle. He doesn't void in them, just totally incontinent, with a constant drip or dribble. The pads are flat and I'm able to place them more to one side for side sleeping. I am afraid to try any other pads now that I've got the combination down to a specific way that works wonderfully.

I have ordered this product before but the latest order I received is different. The packaging is similar but the individual pads are thinner and in a different bag. They don’t seem to be as absorbing as the previous product.

The "new and improved" guards are far inferior to the guards I've used the past 5 years. The absorbency is much less than the old style Guards, the old ones were really good. I normally use 3 in a 24 hour period, but with the new style it takes 6. I am definitely going to search for a different brand that hopefully is as good as the old style of Guards

The product has been altered and is no longer the item sold before. The new Guards are smaller but still advertised as the original which I have bought for several years. They don't work. The new Guards do not absorb as much as the product before. It is shrinkflation with a terrible twist. As least with food you know you are getting the same product but just less of it. With Depends Guards it is not the same product

I need the full pads for my bed bound son and they won't work for him, used the other ones for years and now must find another brand! Very disappointed!!

the product has been changed. vastly inferior to prior product. if a cost issue , raise price do not reduce quality. this is a consumer scam and race to bottom

Did not live upto any expectations. Got this to cover my daily 3 hour long commute stuck in traffic. Urine just leaks from the sides of this pad when ur bladder is unable to hold. This may be Ok for little droplets but not anything more. Otherwise it is a false sense of security. I am going to try a proper incontinence underwear.

The product was fine but the package was left in my lobby with no bag - a package of depends for the whole world to see with my name on it. I ordered this product on line because it’s a sensitive item I’m not comfortable buying at the store and I was horrified with the lack of sensitivity regarding the delivery. For now I will not order from Walmart because of the humiliation I experienced from this order.

I've used these things for 5 years and they have totally changed the design. The absorption pad is about the consistency of a Kleenex and how they can keep selling these things and calling them 30X's and heavy heavy duty is beyond me. a I would not recommend these for anyone as they are worthless.
