Easy to use and highly absorbent!

Anonymous August 6, 2025

When my husband first became incontinent after surgery and into Dementia, I used disposable pullup briefs alone, but realized he needed more protection. I bought these guards and they simply adhered inside his briefs. I was pleased at how effective they were. Now that he has become totally bedbound, I have continued to use the guards in his diaper style briefs and am shocked that they are even more effective now than before. They are easy to use, effective and I'm happy with how many come in a package!

My husband has been using this product for years, it is good. The shipper who sent it was not on time. I ordered 5/7/2026 the shipped 5/8/2026 and it arrived later than the updates I got, it finally arrived 5/26/2026. I had asked for a refund which I do not need now as the product arrived from Prolitech in Florida. I will make sure next time that the order comes directly from Walmart, which is timely delivery.

Were good, not anymore.

Leosgirl May 3, 2026

Have bought these for awhile. Preferred to womens pads, as they had side and front edge guards to contain leaks. Just got a new package and they've been "redesigned". Now just plain pads, that leak on the sides! Won't be buying again. Wonder why manufacturers change what's working.

Not a maximum absorbency pad

Brian December 20, 2025

If you just have small leaks this is fine. But it does not hold near as much as Depends Guards, they are thin and tear easily. This should not be advertised as maximum absorbency.

Returned and Resold

Edwards April 27, 2026

I received a product that have been previously opened and resealed with tape. The quality is also noticeably different and thinner than what I normally receive. I’m concerned about tampering and product safety being this is persons hygiene product and need investigated why this happened and replaced.

Very disappointed

WalmartCustomer June 17, 2025

I thought I’d give these guards a try and was sorry I did. They’d probably work if you have very, very mild incontinence, any more and you’ll be changing these thin pads every couple hours. The Amazon Basic guards are so much more absorbent for the same price, or possibly a few cents less. Every time I used these Assurance guards I constantly worried about leaking. The Amazon Basic guards also have stronger adhesive so they stay in place much better. I learned my lesson, and I’ve also learned to not believe many of these reviews, going back to what works best for me.

Used the “old Assurance guards” , they were comfortable and great protection. These “new improved “ are terrible. Wider, no inner guard, not as absorbent for fast incontinence flows. We will be returning the “new” and back to buying Target brand men's guards.

NOT THE SAME PRODUCT, NOW CHEAPLY MADE

valarie April 28, 2026

This used to be a great product. Someone, somewhere decided to change it. Obviously it was to save money because the quality is no longer there. It is now cheaply made %26 in no way resembles the original product. Shame on you WalMart, this is your name brand product %26 you ruined it by being greedy. This is a personal product for men %26 needs to be returned to the original design that was trusted for its protection %26 absorbency.

Poor product - poor delivery

TIMOTHY May 15, 2026

I chose Assurance male guards over Depends a long time ago. The Assurance pads were far more absorbent and thicker. So, I didn't have to change them as often. Walmart has now substituted a new pad under the Assurance brand name. The new pads are just like the Depends. Too thin, don't last as long. Please bring back the other pads that I've bought and trusted for years. Also, the last delivery came from the store (I always order online and they usually come from UPS or FedEx) and they were just wrapped in a single wrap of clear tape. No box, Just 4 bags, fully visible, laying on my porch for all to see. This is a terrible way to deliver such a sensitive product. BRING BACK THE OTHER ONES YOU USED TO SELL!

Walmart is one of the worst companies I've ever experienced they don't live up to their 30-day return features and their ethics are appalling they think what I can do whatever they please buy or beware you want to find out about Walmart buy from them
