It's not the blades that cut your skin, it's your technique. These blades work great for me. And the price is just as great. I only shave twice with one blade, then replace it with a new one.
use in my safety razor, no cuts or irritation. close shave. blades are inexpensive, I use a fresh blade each shave.
bought for my son, he won't use any other kind.
Really close shave at pennies s to the dollar. Exceeds all expectations and then more.
my dad loves them, the cost was great for the amount received
As a traditional wet-shaver, I love the value of these blades. They are sharp and I seem to get 4-8 shaves per blade depending on my prep work and level of attention I pay to my technique during the shave. You can't beat the value. If you have a tough beard like I do, you'll need to spend extra time cleaning your face and softening the hair prior to the shave if you want to maintain edge durability and get a close shave with no irritation. They aren't a high end carbon steel blade, so don't expect luxury and extreme durability. Feather blades can last up to 15 shaves each if you care for them because they are high-carbon steel and the edge tends to "bounce back" rather than deform. But if you care for these Derby Extras, a one-hundred pack is three-hundred to six-hundred shaves for the average person. If you shave daily, that's one to two years of shaves for ~ $8. More if you shave less than once a day. How can you beat that? As I understand it, the Derby Extra Double Edge Razor Blades prior to the 2016 retooling at their factory, weren't exactly up to the standards of most blades available. The way you tell the difference is that the new blades manufactured after the 2016 retooling are wrapped with wax paper printed with dark bluish-green text rather than light aqua-green, and the text runs parallel to the blade edges rather than perpendicular (at right angles to) to the edges. I attached a picture of the wax-paper-wrapped blades I received.
Good steel blade and sharp
Solid razor blades. Work fine in my straight razor and shavette.
I can not say anything about the Blades as they did not come. What I got instead was a gallon of Roundup weed killer. I chose to keep the weed killer as I need it to eradicate some poison ivy. I did get a new razor in another package. I hope the person that got the blades needed them .
These are not good at all. If you can find one in the pack that works it wont last long.
