I love Design Essential products. I did the big chop and went natural a few years ago. The task of finding hair products for my 4-type natural hair had begun, and I was about 3 products in when I tried Design Essentials, specifically the Almond and Avocado line for wash (moisture and protein), condition, and deep conditioning. I haven't switched to anything else, and I don't plan to. The search is over. I absolutely love the fact that this company is Black-owned. Long live Design Essentials!

This is a very moisturizing shampoo. I've tried some of their others and this one has made my hair feel the softest.

This shampoo leaves my hair softer and more manageable. I have less tangles which leads to less breakage and shedding. Love this shampoo!

All products were gifted to my sister to try to manage breakage and shedding. She used products and absolutely in LOVE with them. I knew exactly what line to get we both have similar texture hair and it's been 2 weeks using and raving over her hair

The almond smell is amazing and I like the way my curls just melt away when I lather it which makes it easier for detangling

No fault of the manufacturer
Did not come with the pump dispenser as described. Bottle was leaking in the box upon arrival. Product was great other than those issues.

Not for thinner curly hair. Has an old oil smell combined with good scent. Hair feels clean for two days. Leaves hair feeling soft but weighs my curls down a lot.
