This made my sensitive scalp so happy. I am 3 months in to my starter loc journey and I have soft thick curly hair. My micro twists unravel easily so I haven't been able to really wash my hair the traditional way. In need of a clean healthy scalp I checked out design essentials because I love their products and I found this gem. It exceeded my expectations. My scalp is clean my hair smells good and fresh and my twists are soft and shiny. It got rid of all the build up. GET THIS!! I will continue to use this even after my locs have matured

pleasantly surprised
this product performed very well for me. I have an ongoing scalp condition that is being treated by a dermatologist and this works better for me than my prescription topical. it doesn't leave my hair gummy and my scalp actually feels clean. it has an extremely mild scent especially considering it has peppermint oil and eucalyptus. I have reordered it once and I plan on reordering it again.

I love this product because I could tell a noticeable difference after a wash. My scalp is extremely dry & flaky. After using this product a couple of times, my scalp is noticeably less dry. A markedly different look. My scalp looks and feels so clean!

I did not like the smell of the product. It smells like Sea Breeze facial cleanser. The smell wears away but it is strong initially. It did help calm my scalp. I will probably buy the product again because it works, I just wish it smelled differently.
