Algae is the best vegan source of omega-3. Unlike flax seed, the body can produce a decent amount of omega-3 from Algae. In addition, this product is made from microalgae that is grown outside of the ocean, therefore it is not effected by sea pollution as eating deep sea fish might be.
This is really great product because it is purely natural and does not contain any fillers. My skin looks tighter, and i have more energy and it also helped me in inflammation and pain issues. Also it is tasteless so it is very easy to take and no after taste. One of the best product!Press "click meeee"button to view and use my c.o.d.e for a Great Dis.count at Check.out
I used to take flaxseed oil as a vegan source for omega-3 until I recently learned that only a small amount of it will turn into omega-3. Apparently, the best vegan source for Omega-3 is algae. I tried it and was stunned - immediately after starting using it I have noticed a difference!
They do what they should I suppose. I noticed since catching covid that if I don't take an omega-3 supplement, I feel like a zombie. When I take this, I don't. The quality seems fine. I'm not a chemist. It doesn't smell funny or fishy. The ingredients are normal and good.
Quality product. After using it for a week, you can feel the energy recovery. Sleep is better. Continuous use of the product is good for health. The eyesight has improved, it is no longer blurry from fatigue. The hair is stronger, the heart beats more calmly. The composition of the product seems to be what was promised.
No gross burps or aftertaste. Great to have an algae alternative for the vegans and vegetarians avoiding fish. I take 2 caps for sufficient dha to benefit brain health. They are easy to swallow for me personally. Thank you to deva for developing this product with carrageenan as well. I will be buying again.
Without this nasty carrageenan! I have finished the bottle and will look forward to order more of the NEW omega 3 softgel from Deva that is carrageenan-free!!! Will not have smell compared to this which I won't mind at all as capsule is small and easier for people with smaller windpipe to swallow. I appreciate Deva's product as always to support veganism & quality! Health is wealth, take care everyone and remember to give me a thumbs up! Cheers!
This DHA / EPA supplement helps with my menstrual cramps and it helps to meet my DHA / EPA requirements, since I'm vegan. The best aspect of it is that it doesn't contain carrageenan, but the reasons why I won't give it 5 stars are: it's almost always sold out; the capsules have an awful smell and aftertaste, even hours after taking them; considering their cost, the capsules should contain twice the amount of DHA / EPA.
I bought this as it's very handy for travelling. But I think a tablet or two per day isn't enough as I don't feel much cognitive improvement. I guess need to take more pills than recommended. Also it doesn't say which species of algae is used. Each species has different composition of DHA/EPA, so I think more transparency is needed.
These vegan fish oil are fine, but not super necessary. I'd been using this for a couple months when I started looking into it more, and you really don't need fish oil (vegan or not) in your diet, in fact, in some people it can put you at greater risk for atrial fibrillation and strokes as well as putting you at a higher risk for bleeding. So if those are things that concern you, talk to your doctor first. All of that being said, these seem to be fine quality, no fishy smell, and last for a few months, especially if you don't take it every day (you really don't need to).
