If I could give this 6 stars I would. No other 22oz hammer feels this light and ergonomic. Chefs kiss!
For the price, this hammer cannot be beat! Starter, side nail pull and at 22 ounces it's a moderate weight which is great when framing all day. DeWalt hit the nail on the head with this hammer!
Had this hammer for a year in industrial construction 5-6days a week stripping and building forms.. ran this hammer into the ground it was good swinging balanced hammer good for stripping out stakes with the steel handle. Just replaced it with a 14 0z dewalt mig welded hammer hopefully gets me threw another year
Perfect balance swing and weight looks great feels good nail staples wood nothing stops it
Awesome hammer! If you're in the market for a hammer and need one to last years, be incredibly durable and useful for any major project or job, this is the hammer for you! So glad I picked this one out!
I bought this hammer a couple of weeks ago after my kids lost my 19oz Vaughan framer. So far I like the extra weight and the slightly less round head, it makes nailing joist hangers a little easier. Time will tell but I'm happy so far.
This hammer is light-weight & well balanced for heavy usage. Great design & sturdy.
my hammer broke in half it is like a swinging hammer with lots of swing
The issue was not the product itself
I have used this hammer for about a week. Most of the waffle print is gone. Cannot pull 8 penny finish nails or flooring cleats as the claw is too wide to grab the heads. My mistake not buying another Estwing suckered by the fancy molded in features. The magnetic pocket for reach nail starting does not work, though it annoyingly picks up a lot of loose things on jobsite that do not belong in your bag
