if you loved the show dexter. than you're gonna loved this spin off. its where young dexter became a killer etc. on a side note the dvds were numberd wrong if you got the show, i had to figure out the dvd thing.

Seeing young Dexter gives more understanding to who he is. And why his code he lives by is important for his survival.

This was great. the only problem with it was, in the DVDs themselves. the first DVD was in its proper place in the package and labeled as disc 1 however it was actually the third disc and the third disc in its proper place in the package was actually the first disc. this threw me off at first and I didn't know what was going on but after I figured it out I was able to watch it and enjoy it very much. this has never happened to me before when watching a DVD. The story and the actors were so well done, that there were many times when I forgot I was looking at a completely new cast and not the originals. I highly recommend it for any fans of Dexter

Not the Dexter I expected.
It was "okay" but definitely not what I expected for Dexter, it just didn't feel like Dexter and the voice over by Michael C. Hall......sure, it was him but the characters left me kinda cold.

Good show/bad DVDs
The show itself was really good but the DVDs are a mess. The manufacturer couldn't even perform the simple task of properly labeling the discs. Disc 1 contains the last three episodes and Disc 3 has the first three.
