Fast shipping and delivery and low price. Great quality and value. I will definitely order again.
These are getting harder to find as a set. You can find individuals, but this set is perfect for the handgun enthusiast as it covers the most popular calibers. Sturdy brushes that work as you'd expect, and all three calibers covered. Great addition to my cleaning set!
These are good to have when you don't need a brass brush, but you need something more aggressive that just a cloth swab. These brushes are well-made and come in a box with two plastic trays separating the brushes. The thread pitch is"8-32", which I believe is the standard today. Some older cleaning rods may not thread onto these brushes so do your homework first, or make sure to keep your receipt just in case you can't use these. (I do remember that I once had an older cleaning set made by Otter that used a different thread pitch.)
I really Like these brushes they seem to be good quality as they are outlasted the last set that I owned not long ago. The last set from a different brand tended to flatten out fairly quickly only getting a couple good uses with them. These are holding out nicely. I've used them a few times now with no change in shape at all. I'm pretty impressed with them and will be getting more of this brand in other bore sizes. Not to bad at all.
great set of brushes made from nylon bristles stiff as brass but gentle on bores , tips are folded over for a smooth end , works with a few different calibers the very popular 9mm , 38 and 357 . strong main portion will not bend in the bore . mine cleaned up my chrome lining bore nicely, they clean up good and are ready for many uses ahead . comes with 10 in the box thread size is 8-32nds, solvents do not effect the bristles leaves them un harmed
OK, I admit that I am less than diligent in caring for my firearms. I have owned several over the years, and the revolvers I am using this product on are .38 Special and .357 Magnum. Although functioning, neither has been cleaned in some time. As an old-timer, I have always used brass brushes, believing that they have more power and durability. I was wrong. These brushes are made of a high-quality nylon which has durability and cleaning power. They scrub effectively, and are not affected by chemicals in my bore cleaner liquid. They are correctly constructed, with threads that secure them to all my standard cleaning rods. I did four passes with the rods, followed up with soaked patches, clear patches, and oiled patches. In each case, both lands and grooves in the barrels came out shiny and new, looking as if they had never been fired. There was no sign of wear on the brushes, and can be used repeatedly. Never too old to learn, I would recommend these to others.
A quick and easy clean The boar brush nylon kit comes in a 10 pack for several different calibers. These nylon brushes are stiff as brass so they clean very well and they were threaded 8-32. Tips are folded over to leave a smooth edge and nylon brushes return to their original shape unaffected by any solvents. I must have for any gun owner.
These brushes are really nice and soft, yet stiff enough to clean! They are versatile and fit many gun bores as well being threaded in 8/32 they fit the rods in my other gun cleaning kits and work perfectly without scratching the gun! Easy and convenient to use and comes in a multi pack of 10!
I bought these to clean a 22 pellet rifle barrel and have also used them on my 22 rimfires. They seem well made and do a decent job for light duty cleaning. You will probably still need a wire brush for the really dirty barrels but I'm glad I got them.
As the title states nylon is the day to go with weapon care! I use to use then brass style for a long as I can remember. That being said the copper/brass has always done a good job but now I find that the nylon does a great job. Mirror like finnish inside the barrel and able to conform to rifled barrel or smooth barreled. It does not leave any fine scratches that others might. The very most important thing is the size fits perfectly and cleans the barrel better than copper/brass. The tool itself is extremely easy to clean after use.
