Works really well like it should.
Meets expectations for intended purpose and use.
These a quality brushes. They are reasonably priced also.
I have many bore brushes for my 9mm, 357 and the quality is not very good with the complete gun cleaning kits. This ten pack of real brass bore brushes are very high quality, the tang that holds the brass brush stems is very sturdy. The screw in base is attached without any wobble. The brushes are very effective in cleaning the chambers. The sheer amount of brushes is great for long term cleaning of my guns. I think this is definitely the way to buy high quality bore brushes from a great brand.
I was skeptical at first because the price seems too good to be true. I am relieved when I see that there are indeed 10 brushes that are the same as the ones that you buy in retail individual packaging. It works fine. So this is a case of buy in bulk and save.
Funny thing; I ordered this sight unseen and expected a replacement for my mediocre bore cleaner I wanted to replace. At first I was a little bummed because its literally just the brushes (10 of them) but no handle. Then I saw it "works on any standard bore brush handle". wuh? OK, I feel like a dummy, I never realized my old bore brush actually detached from the handle and it actually fits the new brushes just fine! These brushes are way better than the old one and very well made (the old was a lower quality brush in a full cleaner kit). With ten of these brushes I will likely be retired before I use them all. Heck, its going to take a long time to wear out the first one.
I go target shooting twice a month cleaning your gun is all part of the game. I have always used soft bronze barrel cleaners. When I saw these in a ten pack I decided to try them. If I go thru these faster then my normal brand or see any other problem with them I will write another review.
My wife has a 380 Bodyguard and I have 9mm Glock. We have been shooting lately and they both needed a good cleaning. I ordered these bore brushes because it said I could clean the two different bores with the same brush. I just got through cleaning both guns and these bore brushes worked just fine. This is their first test and so far so good.
ive ben shooting a lot lately and cleaning is an issue as we all know found DFVPRO. ITS made cleaning my guns easy and lets face it a clean gun is far more accurate than a dirty one. But these bore brushes hold up ive used my current one for 8 cleanings and the brass bristles havent bent yet so i know im getting a good cleaning each time. What makes this stand out even more it comes in a ten pack so no more need of going to clean only to discover your brushes are dead from the last use .
These are standard .357 bore brushes, but made very well. Scrubbed out three Barrels, a .357 mag, a 9mm auto, and a 9mm carbine with the same brush, with no noticeable wear. Very tight twist of the center wire as noticed no loosenin of the bristles. Also, brushing pulled out some lead fouling in the 357 that the last Cleaning had missed. Also like the 10 piece packaging, as a new, fresh brush is always On hand
