Easy way to make flan, don't expect the traditional flan Napolitano texture, this is like jello. It is really good
did not come with enough caramel
Always things could cost less from manufacturing and distribution but production is still good
easy to make and great.
Makes a decent custard, but loses the liquids as it sits in fridge. So not so creamy, as a solid custard, that leaks.
Good, Easy, Dairy Desert. I have also added sliced fresh strawberries and whipped topping at serviing. Good complements..
Thought they were already prepared by the site ad.
The listing says "just add water and heat", but that's not true - you will need 1 liter of milk. The caramel they include is quite bitter - I wish I'd tasted it before adding it to the molds. The taste of the custard itself is fine, but the texture is mediocre - I've had much better. Overall, not recommended.
OMG, was so excited to try this product, kids were excited. I have not been able to find an instant custard mix for years. Found this one on Walmart site and was so excited to make a custard pie again. Boy howdy was this disappointing! It was like a rubbery jello consistency, with just a very faint hint of custard taste, which might have been solely because I used nutmeg on top. DO NOT BUY this product if you are hoping for a custard like Grandma use to make. It does not even remotely taste anything at all like a custard. I almost felt like it was a fraudulent product, it is that bad! Big time disappointed. So you know what, I found a recipe online, going to make custard pie from scratch instead. BOTH THUMBS DOWN on this sham of a product!
This is not a substitute for bars of chocolate to make hot chocolate.
