DHP Dusty Twin over Twin Metal Bunk Bed with Secured Ladder, Black

I put this togeather in no time. It was very easy and the instructions where very clear. It looks decieving when you get the product and start to put it togeather but it is not as weak as it looks. After it all comes togeather it is very strong. For you parents who are buying the kids their very first bunk bed and are a little fearful of the kid on the top bunk falling off it is not really as high up as the picture shows and also another good hint. When buying the twin mattresses dont get the spring or normal mattress because they are thicker. Wal Mart offers a twin child memory foam mattress. I ordered them for the top and the bottom and the kids love how comfortable they are and because of the less thickness it will add an extra inch or two to the top safty rails. I would definitly recomend this product over a traditional wooden frame.

I ordered these because I needed to replace a very large wood bunk bed set since we moved and the bedrooms were much smaller. These are not bulky, and great for older teen boys!...and girls, my girls now want the same ones. The quality and sturdiness is great, and I believe each bed can hold up to 200lb per bed. My kids aren't that heavy but its shows the quality of the metal. I will be ordering my second set soon! Not to mention what a GREAT price for this!!!

For the price of this bunk bed its of very good quality. Assembly took about an hour and is definitely a 2 person job due to the size of the pieces. Unfortunately, one of the pieces was missing a predrilled hole. This issues was quickly and very politely resolved by DHP (the manufacturer) and was replaced at no extra cost. Very good customer service on DHPs part. I have a 4 and 5 year who are very active and rough. Even with them both on the bed and moving about it feels very sturdy and I would recommend this bed. I would recommend that you fully read the instruction before you begin assembly and inventory the parts. Also, re-ensure that all bolts are tightened after assembly and once it's moved to it finial location. However, Walmarts shipping of this item was less than satisfying. I paid extra for faster shipping and it wasn't shipped until the day it was scheduled to arrive. After contacting Walmart customer service they attempted to pass the blame onto others. Just remember, this is a large, heavy item. Shipping will be a bit slow.

My 4 yr really love his bed. I finally got him out of my bed. I put it together by myself. The lower bunk wasn't set up. I'm using the area as a play/art area.

Other than being dented and scratched a little upon arrival the bed was easy to put together. The box it came in was in really really bad shape upon arrival. My daughter and I did it in about 45 min. Good value for the price. Pretty sturdy and all around nice.

I bought this bed for my boys (7 & 11) they love it. It is a little shaky if they are moving around a lot but it doesn't bother either of them. It only took 2 of us about an hour and a half to put it together.
