This hand soap is priced fairly and can refill several hand soap dispensers. The scent is reasonably pleasant, which is subtle and not too strong. The mango and typical soapy floral notes are a bit small, but there is definitely coconut overtone. Viscosity of this soap is comparable to other dial soap products. Also, it seems that this product can be diluted to be used in a foam forming soap dispenser, but you may have to experiment with how much water needs to be added. I generally make 7:3 mixture of soap and water. In this application, dispensed foam soap is a bit thin, but it rinses off from my hand well. Overall, this product provides a good value.
The coconut water and mango was only scent available in 52 oz size bottle. Rather disappointing, but a good deal with the $2 Walmart cash return on each bottle. It will serve the purpose to disinfect washing our hands and the scent is minimal.
I have been buying this soap refill for years and was quite satisfied with it, but the last batch I bought (May/June 2024) seems to have a different formula and now the soap is watery and does not lather well, even when using double the amount. Dial, please go back to your previous formula.
Love the scent….but Dial watered down this soap by at least 50%! We use these refills to refill our foaming dispensers…trick is always to add water…about 4 to 1. Normally this soap shouldn't work in a foaming soap dispenser without adding a lot of water. Like I said 4 to 1 ratio is about ideal. This so is so watered down it works fine without even adding water. Literally getting like 1/3 the actual soap of what it used to be. Color me shocked! I'll be using a different brand lol.
I love Dial products but this may be the first that I don't. It didn't dawn on me that the name of this one was Coconut WATER and Mango. Time has come to refill my soap bottles at home. First pump squirted all over the sink. Hmmm? Ok. Maybe it has to go through a thickening process in the bottle and through the pump. 🤷🏾♀️ Subsequent pumps in the rest of my bottles (kitchen, master ba, and 2nd ba) is the same. This soap is most synonymous with putting water in the bottle where the residual soap is and shaking it to make bubbles or "extend" the life of the soap. Not feeling this one. I feel like I'm washing my hands with water. Even my teenager mentioned that he thought his younger brother had put water in his bathroom bottle. I guess I'm just used to the thicker, soapier soap from Dial that really makes me feel like it's fighting those pesky germs with its antibacterial powers!! Coconut water is still water and the Mango makes it fancy sounding. Ill be returning this one for the Gold Dial!!
The quality has changed for sure. It's so watered down and doesn't clean very well. Also, this has started to give me a rash on my hands. I work in my yard a lot and have always used dial, but since the formula has changed, I won't be buying this one anymore
I recently bought another refill of the "Coconut Water and Mango" soap, as it has been a favourite of our family's for years. I noticed the packaging had been updated, but I never expected the actual product to be different... I have never experienced such a drastic NEGATIVE change in a product - the soap in this refill was so watery, it flew out of the dispenser all over the sink and hardly lathered up on my hands at all. It's now absolutely HORRIBLE!!! PLEASE CHANGE YOUR FORMULA BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS!!!
I bought two of these refill bottles during the second wave of Covid in Manitoba. I was astounded at how thin and water-like this soap was. You can barely lather with this soap as it runs off your hands before you're able to make use of it. It literally has no 'gel' factor or thickness to it like standard hand soaps. I thought maybe this was a refill to be used in foaming hand soap dispensers - nope. It is junk and a waste, and I seriously doubt any sort of cleaning properties given how thin and water-like it is. Don't waste your money! SO DISAPPOINTED!
You know when there is a little bit of soap left and you put a bunch of water in it to get the rest of it? That's what this is. Almost pure water. Bought this years ago and it was fine. Clearly the company is trying to cut corners by adding an insane amount of water to the product. Will never buy again.
This was my favorite hand soap for over a decade. Throughout my entire home this was in every dispenser, I had even stopped buying seasonal scents because nothing beat how delicious this scent was. Those days are dead and gone! The scent is a whisper of what it once was and the formula is so watered down it leaks from the dispenser, slides off my hands, and won't mix with older formula, creating a milky, watery, divided like oil and water slop in the pumps. It also dries out my skin so badly it splits. You can see how odd it is when you refill the pumps as well, it comes out in slimey clumps, truly bizarre. So disappointed to have to find a new brand. RIP.
