I really wanted to do this review so I could let everyone know that if you are looking for a diaper genie…… this is the BEST one you can buy!! I bought 3 others before finally finding this design. The new square refill genie with no foot pedal doesn’t work properly, it eats up the bags as you push the bag downward! The original design was ok but much harder to load bags into and a mess to use somewhat. This new design the bags feed upward as you remove the full bag. It is so easy and cleaner to use. Love it!!

Our standard plastic diaper genie broke, so I bought this to replace it and it is way better! It holds more diapers, it doesn't smell, and the mechanism inside hasn't broken like it was constantly on the other. The metal design is way more durable. Definitely recommend!

This new version of Genie diaper pale is great for babies dirty diapers , also work the elderly . The square opening is perfect for Pads and Depends if you use those as well. I purchased a couple butterfly stickers and placed over genie lid as photo shows nobody the wiser. pail . It works perfect as a garbage pail for the elderly! Love this pail ! No more racing to outside garbage . Buy a butterfly sticker and it serves same purpose! Pictures enclosed . No Oder released in restroom . Changing bag when full is a breeze ! No pun intended! Love my new genie pail! Now for grandmas too!

smaller than I expected, definitely less diapers fill up the pain that descripted but we make it work. when I open the pail to put a new diaper the smell seeps out. still greatful for this pail though.

The diaper genie goes perfectly with the gray and blue room. The pedal makes it easy to open. The seal and lock works great. The odor control feature completely works. No smells in the room at all.

My newborn is breastfed and uses the bathroom slit so this diaper pail is wonderful. The pedal is easy to use. The door closes easily and the pail holds a lot of newborn diapers . You cannot smell the odor and I love that.

The overall look of the diaper genie is sleek and really appealing to the eye wherever you place it in your home and I've had multiple diaper genies throughout the years, but this one after reading the reviews I thought it would be great quiet as everyone said, however, it's not for some reason it makes a clicking noise every time I shut it and it's not quiet at all. I don't like that. I have to have bag rolls for it to use it. It does not fit a lot of diapers. I have to change it every two days I'm not super happy with this diaper genie and would rather go back to the older style. Also on top of all of that when opening the box I didn't even get the right directions for this diaper genie I got the directions for the compact diaper genie, and I have the select genie, so that was confusing.

Terrible design. Have to push the used diaper through the bag literally every time. Keeps the smell contained but I dont want to have to touch the inside of a diaper garbage bag. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd return it. Was this not thought through when designing?

Misleading in description. Said comes with starter bags and no bags were included. This was purchased as a gift and they had to go buy their own bags to be able to even use the product.

I purchased the Genie diaper can . Also bringing in the house a plastic ring just laying on top was broken. I have Walmart because if you bought something and it needed to return Walmart picked it up. Now I have to return something and have no way to do it So I guess I’m stuck with a broken product
