I bought this for an 8 year old girl and she loved it. She has a twin brother and she really likes that she can lock her journal. Plus it comes with 2 keys so her dad can have one in case she loses the other key. What I liked about it was the cover art and the overall quality of the diary. It's the perfect gift for unicorn lovers and youngsters who like to journal.

Cute journal for tween writers
This was the perfect gift for a 10 year old who loves to write and wanted her own journal! Very cute and colorful front cover with gold sequins behind a little clear window, and a basic lock for turning the journal into a diary. Over 100 lined pages for writing on! I added a package of assorted colors of Pen Gear ballpoint pens to this gift just for fun!
