Lite-Brite Classic, Bold & Bright Edition, STEM and Unisex for Children Ages 4 and up

Everyone knows about Lite-Brite products. I'm 78 years old %26 l loved playing with them as a child. Probably should have bought one for myself...but this was a b-day gift for a seven year old. Hmmm, maybe I'll order one after I'm done here. The only drawback is that there aren't enough templates. So, because the price was excellent (better than the other sites) I saved money and was able to buy additional templates.

it's a nice little gift to give to a 8 9 or even a 10 year old my grandson is seven but he is very smart for his age he has autism but has a very high IQ and he loves it especially the bright colors so I would recommend it to anyone as a birthday present or just to get to your child for doing something good

My children loved the light bright. I loved that if came with sheet that helped guide them and give them an idea what to create. They feel like its one of the coolest toys they have an it so simple to me! I love the smile it brings them everytime they create something on it.

My grandsons LOVE this. They loved it even more when I told them I use to have one as a child also. The colors are vibrant and bright. It is a lot smaller/lighter than it was when I was little, and thankfully it doesn't get as hot. Great gift for any child.

This is absolutely amazing. We had so much fun playing with our granddaughter with it. I've seen other reviews that says that it's small but I think people don't understand that it doesn't have a regular lightbulb in it anymore. It's LED lights which makes it so it can be more compact.

Bought for my grandson and was very surprise to find that you don't need paper.The little holes refill themselves. He's three years old and absolutely loves it.

I loved playing with this more than my kids! It was easy to put together although my kids have a difficult time opening the storage area that holds the color markers. I like that it includes templates to make different pictures. My five-year-old use this the most and she really liked it except that it was difficult to push in the color markers into the templates. This is definitely a good toy to have on hand in order to get your kids to be more creative and off of the tablets. I am glad that they brought this toy back.

I have such good memories playing with Lite Bright when I was a child and was excited to play it with my children. The box reminded me of the same box it came in when I was young but of course the Lite Brite the kids found inside the box was much improved. The Lite Brite is lightweight, compact, has built-in peg storage and not only lights up but can flash. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was for my four year old to carry and hold. It's lightweight and compact making it great to travel with and to store easily on a bookshelf. The second thing I was excited to see was that it has built-in storage for the brightly colored pegs. Toys that can store away their own pieces is like the best kind of toy in my opinion. The peg storage not only keeps the colored pegs tidy but the space is large enough for kids to dig in so they are not tempted to just pour the pegs out onto the floor. My daughter has enjoyed playing with it for several days and has yet to dump the pegs. She just digs around for them in the holder. I have to admit we didn't read the directions since it's so easy to just start playing with once you add the batteries. So to our surprise, as we were in a darkened room to see my daughters fun and beautiful flower creation, she realized pushing the on button again makes the light flash. This was so much fun watching her switch between flashing, on and off. Overall, I really like the Lite Brite. It's helping her use her fine motor skills and to be creative and use her imagination too. The quality was better than expected and I was really impressed by the updated design than from I was a kid.

Very similar to what we had as kids. Felt odd to to be using batteries. I wouldn't even mind having to plug it into the wall. It has a stand to stand up but the papers wont stay up without a peg in it first. Papers are also flimsy. The pegs for this one is tough to tell whether the colours are green or yellow.

and love and having retro toys in my home for the grandkids I was disappointed with this because it's so compact which is fine but it takes double a batteries expensive
