My grand daughter loves her gift, I’m gonna gift another to my other grand daughter. It lights up, it’s ample for her alphabets %26 color is brilliant

this is the second crayola light board we have owned. my kids love it. I wish it was rechargeable, however once you put batteries in they do last a long time if you shut it off when it isn't in use. once it is on, on the back you press the button on the front to turn it into various light modes: solid, flashing, fade. it is only a white light. it comes with markers which you color on the board with. they light up when the light is on. it erases with a little water and a towel or for deep cleaning a spritz of window cleaner. i wish it came with its own towel to clean it or a special eraser that the child can use. however, it isn't a big deal. the markers will dry out very fast if you have a child that doesn't put lids on. otherwise the markers put out very good color. you can also purchase the markers separate if the do dry out. over all I've always been very happy with these. my kids love to draw on it. its a nice change going from paper to this, especially because it reduces paper waste because it is reusable. currently all of my children love it they are ages 2,5, and 8. I'd say around 8 is probably when they loose interest, but it depends on the child.

Bought for gifts and the kids love them! The colors are vibrant and the light up board makes it even more fun for the kids make sure the napkin is slightly wet when wiping it off because it does take some time to clean it. But over all I would definitely recommend it!

It’s a cool concept and my 7 year old thinks it’s fun as a nightlight. My only complaint is that it is hard to wipe off. It smears a lot no matter how much you wipe it down. Eventually it will look clear and then when you turn on the light, you can still see smudges all over.

My grandchild loved this for Christmas. Opened while we were there and played with it. The only thing is that it was hard to clean. I think they've figured out a way but I'm not sure. The markers ran out of ink pretty quick...they were small. BUT that slso shows how much it was used and enjoyed!

I gifted this to my 7 and 4 yr old for Christmas. My 7 year old loves to use this in sensory time at school. My 4 yr old is currently working on writing skills and fine motor task to get ready for kindergarten. My career is occupational therapy in pediatric setting I love that this toy is not over stimulating and gives light or no light depending on kiddo preference. I do love that it does motivate coloring/drawing for hand muscles as some kids are motivated by the light being on and their creative being displayed! My only Con is that I currently use a baby wipe to clean it and I feel like there is still streaks, I have attempted windex and the expo cleaner. The expo marker cleaner seems to work best.

The first use and the plexiglass has a smeary residue after cleaning. It is almost impossible to get the plexiglass clear. We tried wet wipes, soft paper towel, a little dish soap on a mouse clean soft cloth, window cleaner, disinfectant wipes and nothing really help clear the smudges. We use the glasses lens cleaner wipes and got the best results but still smeary that doesn’t come off. We are going to try some of the other markets that are suggested to use with it, to see if we get a better result with easier clean up. I am only keeping them because I bought 4 for the daycare kiddos and they don’t mind the smudges, just like the lights and brightening up their art work.

This is a great idea in theory but my guess is that most of the good reviews are from people who gifted these and not people who have had to try to clean them off every 10 minutes for a new picture. It's like trying to wipe off grease, it never clears up and if you use paper towels as recommended it scratches the screen. My daughter was excited and now hates it after one day of struggle and crying.

So disappointed with these items. Screen can’t be cleaned. Lighting doesn’t show up very will. My grandchildren can’t even use them. A total waste of my money. I always thought Crayola was the best but this item is totally useless. And worst of all I purchased TWO of them.

I bought this as a NEW gift for my granddaughter come to find out someone must of returned it and they resold it. hapoens i know however it was filthy , used a bunch of times w dirty fingerprints on it! i guess I am more upset with Walmart then the actual product itself . it still works but if i wanted to pay full price for a used product i would have gone to a resale shop! check your returns Walmart!
