Made By Me Create Your Own Bead Pets

I was so excited for this Horizon Group Made by Me Bead Pets & Keychain Kit. Talk about a throwback to my school days. I used to make these all the time when I was a kid and would carry them around and have them on my backpack. I still have a few. My kids wanted to make some and this is a perfect starter kit. It comes with string, clasps, key rings, lots of beads in different colors like orange, yellow, green and black and more. Plus it comes with a little plastic case to carry the stuff in. We had so much fun going through it. The best part is it has little diagrams to show you how to string the beads and make the different animals which is very helpful as I couldn't remember how to make them since it has been so long. My girls 4 and 8 years, had a blast but I had to help them a bit. Now they just want to make more and we still have some left to make. It makes up to 10 sets. Which is pretty nice. Definitely a lot of fun. I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the opinions here are my own experiences.

I really like this Bead Pets, it comes with everything you need for your creations, has different colors that are very vibrant colors, it comes with a guide to help you make the different creations. It comes with a box to store the beads which is great for organization.

The Horizon Group Made by Me Create Your Own Bead Pets Kit is such a cute little set. It is not just fun for little kids. My sixteen year old couldn’t wait to dive in and try his hand at a project! The kit comes with plenty of beads, several roles of cord, and keychain loops and hooks. The best part of this kit is, hands down, the carrying case. This big boxed set becomes a very small, easily storable and/or totable fun activity for kids. It has a larger compartment for beads and four smaller compartments for cords and fasteners. The lid easily fits on and stays on. The lid is the most useful tool in the entire kit. It doubles as a helpful and fun to use building guide for your project! The included patterns are easy to follow and adorable. One recommendation when putting together a project is to pull the cord as tight as possible, as it loosens up a little later. If your child is looking to make gifts for family and friends, these projects would make great little gifts! This whole kit would also be a great birthday or Christmas gift for a child.

This is a cute craft set that includes everything needed to make about a dozen bead pets. With this kit you can make keychains or a purse or backpack charm. It comes with instructions and a guide. It was a great rainy day activity to keep busy and a lot of fun.

This set Includes 437 po y bead, 10 paper templates, 6 keyrings, 4 lanyard clips, 20 yards of wax cord and 1 storage case. This kit is fun for all ages. I along with 2 children had a great time making keychains and I definitely reccomend you buy this kit and rate it 4 out of 5.

This pet bead kit is a very good hands on activity for kids. The instructions could be a little more descriptive but all in all the end results are very cute. Some of them are food oriented instead of pets. I recommend this activity in place of electronic devices for all kids to promote handmade accomplishments. Enables kids to make gifts to give to others.

This build your own pet key chain kit is great! Sometimes is hard to find gifts for the 10-14 age but this kit is a great gift for that age group. It has kept both my daughter occupied for hours. It’s fun and the direction cards are easy to follow. Put this on you Christmas list!

This kit kept my son and his friend busy and quiet for hours when the couldn’t go outside and play because it was too cold and wet. They were bored watching tv so I gave them this to entertain them and they had so much fun. Each animal had instructions with numbers to indicate which color bead to use. Some were difficult for them to follow but once they got one done it was much easier to do though.

I do believe the age limit should not be a six and up. It was very hard and I am 27 years old to do with all of my kids.

I had high hopes for these since my almost 8 year old son is obsessed with keychains. He was so excited about these. The age recommendations started at 6 so this was a double score EXCEPT even at 8 he could definitely NOT make these by himself. Let’s start with the kit & container that holds the beads; it did not have enough compartments for each major color. Next the lid is the part where you set the beads while you’re building your design. It does not keep the beads up right & this frustrated my son. Next you have to weave the string one way & then the other until you get to the bottom & then tie it off except once you get to the bottom & try pulling it a bit tight to make it look nice the bottom beads start flipping & not staying where they are suppose to be. We ended up taking off a bead to make it look okay. In the end our keychain didn’t look much like the picture. It looks okay but when you lift it it’s really saggy. I probably wouldn’t recommend these to anyone unless they’re an avid bearer who could make it better if that’s even possible.
