Dickies Men's Heavyweight Crew Sock, 3 Pack Genuine

I am a farmer/rancher on my feet working 7 days a week in all weather in Kansas. I am 6'3" and 230 lbs. My whole life I wear out socks prematurely. Two years ago I tried these socks and found them to be comfortable and VERY durable. They stay up in mud boots. They last in the heels. I also appreciate that they actually come in my size as well. I wear size 14 shoes and have a terrible time finding both shoes and socks that fit me. I also want to say that mail ordering these made sense as well. I have previously purchased and worn Dickies Industrial Heavyweight Cushion Work Crew Socks in the past that I bought in a retail store. They are the best socks I have ever had for work wear. I needed more and wanted brown and couldn't find them in a store so I went direct to Dickies.com. It was a great buying experience and a great value. The new brown socks exceeded my expectations and are made better, stronger and more stylish as well feel better to wear than the previous Dickies socks I have owned. I am extremely pleased with them and highly recommend them. I have even received compliments from people on how good they look.

These socks are very well constructed and the materials are top notch with extra attention paid to the working areas. The elastic is excellent and I would highly recommend them unless you are looking for the flimsy dress socks.

Good, medium weight socks. A little tight on the calf and fits me a wide size 13 snugly. Watch the size when you order. Not a lot of color choice but who cares for this usage. Nice an warm and good for walking in fall and winter with light boots.

I've worn Dickies socks for last 2-3 years and love them but, I can't get the same sock. Specifically, the Dickies I have (2-3 yrs. old), the elastic at top of sock expands easily, their comfortable and they stay up. Unfortunately, their beginning to wear out. The recent orders I've made I have returned simply because there's little expansion of the elastic at top of sock which then makes them too tight and uncomfortable.

The bad - Most of the socks I find today are too tight in the calve Including these!!!!! (and I have thin-medium calves) also they are labeled as "Heavyweight Cushion" and in my opinion they are too thin. The Good - they are well made and seem as if they would hold up to daily abuse my feet go thru (if only I could wear them).

These socks are okay but, in my opinion, heavyweight they are not. My older ones were thicker in the foot bottom adding more padding. These are very thin in the foot bottom. Also, I ordered crew and these are over the calf. If you don't mind a thinner over the calf sock then these are for you.

I have a pair of Dickies athletic socks from years ago. They have more padding in the foot of the sock. The material is heavie. The top of the sock is stretchier and less binding. The size is adequate but I wish it was more substantial

These are supposed to be men's size 6-12. I am a woman who usually wears a Women's 10. I can barely get the socks on my feet, let alone over my calf. I am taking them back. Disappointed.

I wear size 10 shoes. I was looking for socks to replace my most comfortable Dickies, and after trying some size 6-12 which were too tight for comfort, I tried these "new improved!" "more stretch!" oversize socks. They are boa constrictors for sure. I assume you marketing can be translated as "we are using less yarn to cut costs". After wearing for an hour or two, my legs are marked with deep impressions; they are truly uncomfortable.
