The gal that comes in to help me is the one that uses my Hand heldeld Dirt Devil. She just loves it. I purchased it to vac my sofa and love seat. Well, when I hear it running I go check on her only to find her on her hands and knees vacuuming a rug. She just loves, loves it and cannot say enough about it.

Perfect for those tasks that don't require the big guns! I use this for my vehicles, beds and living room furniture. Works great on pet hair which is the bane of my existence, and the suction is great for how mini it is. Only 'complaint' would be that the filter gets dirty very quickly, so you have to make sure you are checking that as you go and emptying/cleaning accordingly. It's quick and easy to clean it, but you have to do it more with this handheld device than what you may think. Otherwise, I absolutely love it!

I love it. I bought it for dog hair on my leather couches and into small areas like kitchen cabinets. I've tried all those small handheld vacs that just didn't work well or they lose power with in 10 mins. Because it plugs in I don't have to worry about a battery dying and it has great suction.

I bought this specifically for stairs to replace a Dirt Devil I had for 30 years. So far, it has great suction. But there are a couple of things wrong in the design. First, the cord is WAY too short. I have to replug halfway up. Second, the pop in head for stairs was poorly designed and doesnt stay in a straight position. Some might like the swivel, but be warned-the unit decides, not the user. Finally, the crevice tool on the top is plastic and swivels on tiny, plastic balls or tabs. Mine were broken and the tool came off in my hand the first time I lifted it for use. Im guessing the inspector either didn't notice or chose not to replace it. Trying to get in touch with Dirt Devil about that. I'd rather not return the entire thing if only that piece can be replaced. I haven't t used it in my car or even tried to remove the dust cup yet, so cant speak to those features. But overall, if I chose again, I'd buy a different brand. Too bad; they used to be top tier.

I bought this product because it was marketed for being effective for pet hair. I have used it numerous times to give it a chance and it just does not work well at all. I can go over one spot of pet hair on a pillow or blanket, over and over again, and the hair is still there. A lint roller does a much better job.

I received it yesterday. Opened it today and used it to do my stairs. It was working great until I got to the last stair( I have 12 plus a landing) and it just shut off. I had already emptied it so that wasn't the problem. Checked the outlet, nope. So back to the store. Big disappointment. Wasn't too happy about the lack of length of cord also.

I chose this vacuum because I thought it would be more powerful than the cordless types. But this vacuum barely works. The brush roller spins full speed when you first plug it in and turn it on, but as soon as you start using it the brush barely spins and then stops spinning altogether. The brush roller head also turns to the side even when it is in the “locked” position.

3-position swivel power head (great feature for stairs) broke after one use. Great suction if using with crevice tool, so probably would have been a great product except for the power head attachment design which renders it practically useless and a waste of $57 ,

It was great the first time we used it.. then it started having problems. The little cup that holds the dirt wouldn't fit properly and you had to really work with it to get it to work and the bristles always got clogged up with pet hair which you had to basically take apart the roller in order to get the pet hair out. Then it started making a loud noise and it got really hot. Wish I had bought the Bissell to begin with.. Don't waste your money!

It's not comfortable for me, leaving negative reviews. But I hope to save someone some trouble. The pivoting head was all over the place, so I ended up taping it in place. Then the crevice tool broke the first time I used it. Eventually (less than an hour) it stop working entirely on day one. Hopefully they're not all this flimsy, but that was my experience.
