[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great idea to keep kids busy! It comes with two solid blocks of "dirt", tools to excavate and glasses to wear to protect the eyes. Open the blocks and wet them then get started and this is perfect for an exploratory activity together. My 4.5 year old did not have much trouble getting the dirt off but we took turns because she could not wait to get the bones out. Then it's a surprise which block has the T-rex or which has the raptor so she was really excited to see which one we were digging out. The kit comes with one of each. She was very interested and excited when we were done with both to play with the models as well. She's been saying she wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up ever since we got this which is a win for parents to hear!

He had so much fun pretending to be a real archeologist. It's so realistic and super fun. Also the cleanup isn't to bad like most other kits I have gotten in the past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son had a blast doing this. It didn't take him too long to get it all out and it makes a bit of a mess. But, he was extremely excited about it and the realism of the bones. I would definitely recommend this as a fun project.

The "bones" were well made of good quality plastic so they didn't get broke by the chisel when he was excavating them and the plaster was the perfect medium for the wooden chisel and hammer!

My son had so much fun with his dad they didn't even let me try it out lol. My son loves it so much he wants me to buy him more escavation kits
