[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 5-year-old who loves dinosaurs and it was a fantastic idea. These things are so freaking cool and she loves them. I would highly suggest this toy to anyone who has a little dinosaur lover in their lives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur excavating kid is simply great! My daughter absolutely loved sitting at the table digging out "bones". Very simple, easy and didn't make a huge mess like some others we have tried. We loved it!!!

The "bones" were well made of good quality plastic so they didn't get broke by the chisel when he was excavating them and the plaster was the perfect medium for the wooden chisel and hammer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loved this fossil excavation kit. It kept her occupied for so long. It was easy to set up (just wet the fossil) and you can start excavating. It took a while for my daughter to get to the actual fossil and took her several sessions to sit down and work on it. Overall we were both happy with this activity!

He sure enjoyed trying to dig that shark tooth out and keep him busy for some time. It really got his mind going which is always great! The kits was nice quality and educational. We were very pleased with this item.

Upon opening, the kit has everything needed to excavate the brick full of stones. The tools are durable, sturdy, and good sized. The goggles add eye protection and fun! This was used by a 10 year old, and took about 1.5 hours to fully break down the pieces. It was fun to then look up and classify the stones we found inside. I think this kit is a great value and wonderful education tool. Furthermore, it's great FUN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your looking for some time to yourself this is a great buy. My kids 12 and 10 did this together with no arguing. You wet the rocks and the mess is minimal. All the dust stayed on a paper plate. Both were happy and excited with their fossils.
