I purchased this lighter to light large wax candles that have wicks that are three times the size of a normal candle. Regular lighters just we not working well, taking three or more attempts to get the candle burning. With this lighter, a 7 second blast of flame, and the candle is burning bright.

This lighter is a wonderful starter torch for all aspects of cooking and 🍯, but to a catch. This is still a $5 lighter. You will only get a good flame for about 2-4 days depending on use. Around halfway of use, you'll go from a high powered torch to a slow flame (There is no way to fix this after it happens). Refilling is very simple like any other bottom filling torch, but I find that it's worse after refilling weirdly enough? End of the day, you need something quick and easy? This is it!! Long term use, just get a $20 one honestly.

it started off strong... when I refilled it I used premium butane and I used all the tricks that you can find on the internet to ensure a consistent burn. however, after the first few refills it really went downhill as far as being able to light itself and requires a second lighter for ignition. pretty lame, but I got my money out of it and it does work with a little assistance and effort.

It's a nice little lighter but like all butane lighters it performs poorly in the cold. I have to keep it in a warm pocket and even then it might take 3-4 strikes to get it to ignite. Once it's lit it behaves like a mini torch with a strong flame that resists wind. I like that it's refillable and the see thru fuel tank makes it easy to know when it needs fuel. It will likely be one of my favorite lighters in warmer weather.

well it's a typical small butane windproof torch lighter. it's kinda bothersome how loud the click is.. Especially when your out being s Ninja in the night., or ambushing unsuspecting smores or creme brulee.. *click*

I love the size. The look and little chain cover, works great if you need between a lighter or torch. There is a cool flame adjuster that folds out at the bottom. It is little difficult to push the button down and the lines can hurt fingers. I am handicapped so little hard for my hands, Other than that it's worth the buy!!

you cant fill it with a regular butane can. you have to put a certain size fitting from the inside of the cap to fill it and that even makes the lighter spray it all over the place.

it only seems to light in one little spot on the adjustable dial otherwise it's clicking for nothing. and as you hold it you accidentally adjust the dial out of that spot horrible design

worked for one day then it stopped working. I was using it outside it may be because of the cold weather keeps it from working well. but that's what I got to review about it thank you
