I broke a few toes and needed to be in a shoe, not a full boot. This worked out perfectly well. The straps are very long, but do not cut them very short. I did and found out. I should've left them longer for changing the fit as my foot would swell. If you need a medical shoe, you should give this one a try.
I am overjoyed! This post-op shoe is a Godsend! A little over a year ago I had surgery on my left foot due to drop foot. My doctor put a bolt and nut that left my left hallux (big toe) numb and bent down, so. It was virtually impossible to put my foot into any of my shoes! I searched high and low for shoes that would fit, but nothing worked! Then, by accident, I “stumbled” across this post-op shoe on Walmart.com. It's velcro instead of laces, easy to put on, comfortable and lightweight! And it fits perfectly (on either left or right foot.) I thought about using the right side of one of my other shoes so it doesn't look weird, but decided I'm gonna buy another post-op shoe, so it'll look better and easier to put on. Definitely worth $15!
This post-op shoe worked out very well. First, it was really low price, then it was delivered to my home in 2 days without paying extra. The specialist did surgery on my big toe, and with it all bulky wrapped up, the regular shoes were rubbing it something fierce. This shoe worked so well that my toe was able to be without anything on the top or sides. Really did a fantastic job and gave me real comfort to heal.
If you have wide feet... I wear a mens 9, womens 11 extra wide. my foot is right on the edge but I dont mind it too much. and the strap clips are literally together but I made it work with the adjusting velcro. So the straps fit a huge foot but the sole is for tiny feet.. But it works!
These were bought for my 90 year old mother who has severe problems with her feet. FINALLY something she can/will wear that helps with her walking and the pain she has.
What A Blessing For Me 🙌🙌🙌 I Fell Through The Floor At A Friend's House and Crushed My Ankle 😞 I Wasn't Able To Wear The Knee Hi Air Boot because it Irritated My Bad Right Hip and I Wasn't Able To Walk until I Got This Shoe 💯🙏 9 weeks of staying home unless I had a Drs appointment also. Thank You For You're Product and I'm Very Grateful 🙌🙌🙌😌😇
It was too big for Ladies size 9 wide wish I had ordered smaller size this is for Men's size
I broke a couple of toes, Stupid, I know. I was looking for something that would keep my foot stable, and fit well, and open not to bother my healing toes. Your product was the best choices I could find, It was wider than wanted, but it is for people in casts, Because the straps were so long, due to the extra width of the cast, I started trimming, and went too far. To keep the device feeling like a flip-top, I used some over size rubber bands keeping the sole of shoe secure to my foot. It worked well, Probably not what you expected, for me it worked, kept shoe on, and secure. I am happy I found your product. The plus is that it will work on my other foot, if needed!
The price could be a little bit cheaper cuz I could have bought it on Amazon cheaper. however, I'm not a big fan of Amazon so that's why I bought it at Walmart. insurance usually would pay for it
Absolutely no instructions. It took my son and his engineer father-in-law 15 minutes together to figure out the Velcro system. I ended up cutting off at least 5 inches of excess Velcro. Absolutely stupid!! Unless you have someone in your pocket, like an engineer, forget about putting it on and wearing it straight away.
