Equate Universal Crutches – Adjustable Walking Support for Adults

Having Walmart and these saved me money at Urgent Care. They would have charged me double. Instead, I ordered these and had them delivered a few hours later. They are adjustable to accommodate varying heights. I ended up not needing them after all, but it was nice to get them fast just in case.

Very good crutches for the money they are not perfect and seem to have a very slight lateral wobble at one of the joints but not enough that posed any problem for me using it as a middle aged adult. it was also good to see two different places that it expands.So they could fit into a very small box but also work for a very tall individual. much more versatile than where the urgent care center.I have worked at would need to stock multiple sizes of adult crutches. the way they collapsed down into a couple of pieces with a couple of adjustment points makes for small compact shipping, but also wonderful to save the box to pack them up.When I was done with them to save them for the next person in my house getting injured.

I bought these last minute and they are okay except they do not come with instructions for how to adjust them or how to put them together. plus when you do finally figure it out, the buttons are hard to press while trying to adjust them, you really need like three hands . We ended up figuring it out eventually. I wouldn't recommend to buy as a gift unless you help the person put it together and adjust it.

The crutches are sturdy enough to hold my weight, all in all, great crutches. My only concern are the plastic caps at the handles. They pinch and pull hair every time i use them. I had to put medical tape on them to get it to stop hurting when I used them.

I don't know how long these will hold up probably not that long but they are super heavy. If you're going to use them for a long time or have any issues with arm strength, these are not for you.

Claims that someone who is 6'4" tall can use these are exaggerated and false. the means by which to modify them to obtain the height claims were riveted and not adjustable.

No instructions. And YouTube videos explain only two of the three adjustments. But the adjustments seem intuitive except... I was not able to make the coarse height adjustment. Even with the two pins pressed in, I'm not able to extend the coarse height adjustment of either crutch. So... not ideal for someone taller than 5'8". .. unless you have a team of horses to pull that coarse adjustment or someone reveals the secret step.

This is far from easy to assemble the fire department, had to come to my little dwelling and put it together for me. They promptly fell apart. When I used them. I had to carry around the broken pieces all day and injured myself. These crutches are horrendous. they fall into 1 million pieces. I had to call the fire department to have them put together. They're not easy to put together. OK I don't know what to say. I love Walmart and I'm glad I was able to return these items and it took me quite a bit of effort to return them I had to carry them. I had to take the bus both ways. The people at the store were great, especially the lady at the return counter however it took me about three hours because I had to take a bus both ways and it was 90° out I'm 68 years old. Don't get these crutches if you can possibly help it I had to carry them around town like a fool after they broke and I was out on the street so yeah, not a good choice. Thank you.

Literally broke before was even able to put together. Had to but another brand and while it might not represent the experience of most buyers it was mine so variables happen.

The bottom of the crutches are way too flimsy. The padding under the arm is no good. There's no way that's gonna work for 6‘7“ guy. They don't go long enough. They're way too small baby crutches so if you're an extra large or a man or even a medium size man these aren't gonna work for you.
