Loved this math game! I'm always looking for interesting new card games for kids and this was perfect since it had STEM elements to it so that they can learn new things. Was definitely an entertaining educational game. . Here are some rules we created as a variation: 1. Deal 5 cards to each player and 5 in the "field," plus 25 cards in a draw pile. The rest go out of gameplay. 2. When you make an equation, prove it and TAKE the cards used in the equation. Field gets replenished before the next player's turn. 3. If you cannot play, take one card from the draw pile. If you still cannot play, pass to the player on your left. 4. Play until everyone has passed (no moves left). 5. Whoever has the most cards in their pile is the winner. 6.Also, because my son is still learning addition and subtraction, I made a way for him to play. Pretty much I took out everything above 20 and the action cards. As he gets better, I'll add cards back in until he eventually gets to learning multiplication. 7.Overall this can be a fun game, would recommend for kids. This game is fun to play. It is easy to learn for children eight years and older. My children who are 13, 8, love playing this game. It is a great way to improve math skills and concentration while having fun. I would highly recommend this product.
This absolutely a great family cad game to improve and sharpen math skills for children and even adults in a fun entertaining way. Cards themselves are of high quality and seem durable enough to stay put against wear and tear of kiddos hands. The instructions are not thorough but I believe it meant to be so we can make our own rules of who and how to win, and we could create different rules every time which makes it even more fun and less boring on the long run, be creative with the rules and use imagination for a quality time of mental training. If your kids into math you would definitely enjoy this game.
This is a great game for kids which promotes math skills. The recommended age group is 8+ and I think thats about the right age. My son is able to play it but it does take time. And depending on the numbers and skill of the players, the game can take more than 29 minutes. I think it's a good game to build math skill and recognize how to make equations that equate to a certain number. My son is a not a huge fan of math but he still likes to play it. We play for a while and then just stop when everyone is tired. It's in a small compact box and easy to take along anywhere. There is very little setup so the game can be started super fast.
This is a fun game while helping your kids learn math. We got this for my 9 year old to help be able to apply her math facts. She enjoyed the game while at the same time was sharpening her skills. Great family game.
Great math practice. I played this game with grandchildren 6, 9, and 10 who like math. All three enjoyed the challenge.
It's great to have fun and learn at the same time!! My kids love it!
Well, it's a Xmas gift for my granddaughter but not so sure she'll appreciate it as much as the make up box! The premise seems good and might be a fun way to practice with her folks. Shes being tutored in math and reading so I do want to support her learning.
It is fun and, as the name implies, requires some math skills for sure. No super innovative but a good game none the less.
We wanted to get our son playing more games. This helped play games and practice math.
I had high hopes for this game for my 3rd grader. He enjoys games & math so this was the perfect way to encourage his leaning. It was fun the first few times we played. Easy to follow instructions but he got bored quickly. Great learning tool.
