my grandkids expect fun projects and as a former educator, i like fun things where they create/learn stuff. and dinosaurs are not just a boy thing anymore, yay! when we have finished with these, i will hide the little dinos in plastic Easter eggs for them to find in the wading pool. they'll learn the names of the dinos too, win-win!

My 3 year old is obsessed! It takes a long time to get the dinosaur out so he sits and digs for hours and then he's obsessed with his little baby dinosaur. This is SO MESSY though. I recommend doing it outside or in a spot that's very easy to clean after. He gets covered in pink dust and it gets all over the table, chair and floor. Very worth it but it is a mess.

Arrived as pictured. The brushes and picks were a different color which is not important, just expect that. The inner package of picks were not sealed and they were all over the place inside. Be careful when opening, so they do not go everywhere. There were 12 each of brushes and picks so 12 children could do them at the same time. The eggs were about 2.5" high. There was also a page with other activities included so that was a nice bonus. Only thing I would change is to make the brushes and picks one piece, have brush on one end and pick on other to save plastic.

It's a learning experience and a surprise when fully excavated. Fun, learning, quality time with your child. For girls and boys. This will make a great gift and worth the money.

This is the perfect gift for any child, or even adult, who loves dinosaurs. The box was quite heavy and the contents more extensive than anticipated. The individual eggs can be hidden for an egg hunts or just sit iand open them. This is a great find and I recommend these for anyone who has children.

I am a retired veteran so I got these for my grandbabies. I'm also a retired teacher. These are excellent gifts for any occasion! They are educational and fun!! Great price also! All around good buy!!!

It's a cool little game/toy! It's a little hard to dig into and get the dinosaurs out, and really time consuming. My 4 year old got bored before he got the first dinosaur out of the first egg. But when I found the beginning of the dinosaur he got excited and started helping again...
