My partner %26 I love these as a snack. The fruit and the juice are delicious! Because, we started splitting 3 of these cups between us (i.e. 6oz. each) I have switched to the 15 oz can which is cheaper per ounce ......And we each get 7 1/2 ounces.....win, win!
These are great to throw in a lunchbox, in the refrigerator or in the pantry. Very juicy %26 good sized chunks for adults and little hands alike. A perfect side dish for lunch, snack on the go, or dessert. I love the individual package so that none goes to waste
Love, Love, Love these Dole Mandarin fruit cups! I Love that they are in their natural juice. We have a diabetic family member, and one of these is the perfect amount of sweetness, and fruit for a serving for them without altering their blood sugar. The taste is really good. I keep in fridge and we like the juice and fruit cold most days! I love to toss the segments on top of salads.
these are one of my husband's favorites I used to get them in a can but now I will occasionally splurge on these. this year has been one of medical chaos, so I have been forced to keep a supply of individual portion supply foods on the top shelf of the fridge. Between dietary restrictions and mobility issues these he can manipulate whenever he is hungry without having to use a can opener which requires both hands to operate until he heals. independence one portion at a time.
I prefer these in juice mandarin oranges rather than those in syrup. I use them as a snack, in salads and desserts. The big box was cheaper per cup than buying the smaller 4-cup size.
( A) I grade these as an “A” due to taste. The mandarin oranges are a best seller for a reason! They are good quality, texture and taste fresh. Even though they are in juice they maintain the firmness of the orange. A Great value for the money and I save more money by purchasing this size package. Nice size for a snack. It is a good option as a side dish as well. They do not require refrigeration unless opened but Does taste better chilled.
Dole mandarin oranges are delicious with no high fructose corn syrup which makes it a healthier choice compared to the alternatives. However it's like Russian roulette when picking out a box. Sometimes you may get one with a cup or two with the seal broken leaking its contents all over the rest of the cups. That's a sticky mess and a let down. Sometimes you may open a cup and find a foul smell or discoloration in the liquid or fruit itself. Like I said Russian roulette. These are delicious but at its current price point I expected better.
I’m not sure what it is but lately every single time I buy this brand of mandarins, they taste really weird. More sour than usual instead of it being sweet. My kids love mandarins and every time we’ve gotten this brand they ask me what’s wrong with it because it tastes nasty. We used to devour this brand at home, not anymore unfortunately.
The last two times we’ve bought these they were sour and not yummy to my kids or to me. I thought i had a bad batch so I bought it again later. Same results. Very disappointing. We will stick with the Great Value brand!
Upon opening this box of 12 mandarin orange fruit cups most of the cups were stuck to each other with evidence of leakage from one of the cups. However, that seemed mild when I discovered 2 of the cups had black mold with one of them stuck to the bottom of the box. This was the first time I ordered this brand and it will be the last. I'm sorly disappointed. I'll go back to what I have always done before.
