Dominion Board Game

My 14 year old son played this at a friend's game night, then asked for it for his birthday. I was happy that he asked for something not involving buttons or a screen. He and I and his 11 year old brother have played it twice since it arrived last week. I lost both times. My now 15 year old actually hugged me and said, "Thanks for playing with us, Mom." Totally worth $30 right there. It's a fun little strategy game, and can be played out of the box. It takes longer the fewer players you have. It takes the three of us about 1 and 1/2 hours, but I think we drag it out by not buying up any of one card very quickly. (See the rules of play for an explanation.) We COULD be done in 1/2 hour.

If you like strategy but not all the mess of a game with tons of little pieces, this game is for you. With only cards in your hand, this game is simple but constantly changing. And you can play with just two players!

Fun and easy to learn. Worth it!

This is a card game, with different cards having different actions and abilities. I bought this for my boyfriend after he played with a good friend of his. They love it. It's not my favorite game but I will play it no problem. Games are pretty quick- around 20 minutes. I thought it was a little pricey for board/card game.

If you're looking for a great starter set then buy this. It contains Victory cards (Estate, Duchy & Province), Treasure cards (Copper, Silver & Gold), Curse cards as well as around 20 Kingdom cards (like Chapel, Village, Remodel & Witch). Kingdom cards range from 2-6 coins to purchase. The box is laid out easily in order to hold each stack of cards for simple viewing.

My wife and I love this game. And everyone we've introduced to it - friends, siblings, parents, have all really enjoyed it. It has a unique combination of cards, interaction, and versatility. You choose 10 cards out of 25 each time - so every game is different. If you like card games or board games of any kind, this is a great buy, especially since it can be played with just 2 people!

Well this game seems confusing in the beginning but give it a chance because it is not as confusing as it seems and is quite fun once the game gets going. My husband, 10 and 12 year old sons and myself had great fun with it over the Christmas break.

My kids love this game. Great for ages 9-15. Hours of quiet:)

This was the best price i could find for it new. Great game addition for game nights.

Once I learned how to play this game it was fun
