I was a complete behinner. i have ndver played drums before. Found domd free online lessons and Im on my way. only complaint is that I had to figure the names of the drums to connect the cables.

Absolutely awesome beginner drum set. Perfect for someone to start out on especially since it’s quiet so you can jam your heart out and not disturb neighbors. Absolutely recommend for the price point!

Nice unit! Assembly was pretty easy but it does have bare minimum instructions. Th only way to hear the drums is through wearing the headphones. We ended up purchasing a $100 DRUM amp from Donner so my son could play and not wear headphones. You cannot use any speaker or a guitar amp. All in all, he loves it!

Pretty easy set up the instructions could have been more clear. Many different modes and kits. Doesn’t take up too much space.

I purchased this set for my 12 year old son so he could use it for many years. He loves it. It wasn’t difficult for him and an adult to assemble. It can be connected to a small amp we already owned. I love that he can use the headphones so that we have minimal noise in the house.

Brought this for my special needs son for Christmas. Gave it to him early and he loves it. We love that it has headphones that he wears, and we don't go crazy listening to him play. The drums are now his favorite new interest, and they keep him busy for hours. This ended up being a great gift for him and the price was amazing.

A good beginner set up especially for kids. A little on the small side for adults but even with my son over 6 feet tall they are playable. If you learn to play quickly you will out-grow these pretty fast. Especially if you hit hard, the snare and symbol clamps will eventually become too loose no matter how tight you try to make they and they will slowly slide/fall as you play. Overall they are good for the price and easy to set up and start playing.

Totally beginner set. Ride cymbal only a ride, does not have trigger zones. upgraded model does. Did not know that until I tried to crash, you cannot choke the cymbals on this model. Very basic kit, if you like different zones on snare and cymbals, get an upgraded set, like the 200x.
