Cutter is small and needed adjusting to make the center stop falling out. Didn't arrive new. Was out of package and taped to what was left of packaging. Had to use Goo-Gone to get the sticky off.
This doughnut maker is sturdy and easy to clean. Cuts perfect doughnuts with ease. I keep the cutting edges lightly coated with flour to keep the dough from sticking. Great product.
This is a great donut cutter! It is well-made and sturdy. The middle cutter can be removed to make cookies or filled donuts. The handles are strong, despite them looking so delicate! This cutter can withstand lots of regular heavy use!
Easy to use. Convenient.
I like the donut maker because I can use it either for making donuts or cookies. I can even use it for making biscuits
Product came as advertised in a timely manner.
it is strong to use
This thing is just cool! My daughter and I made several dozen donuts with it, and the only thing that was kind of a bother was the center piece has a hard time staying in the larger piece, that's the difference between 5 * and 4*. It's made to come out, but retention could be improved. Also, make sure you flour it between each cutting for a clean cut and so that the doughnut doesn't stick to your cutter. It looks small, but if you are making cake doughnuts, they will puff up as they are cooked, and yeast doughnuts will get bigger on the second rising. Excellent purchase, we are happ,y.
I bought this to replace an old tin donut cutter that belonged to my mother. I wanted to make donuts and holes. This has an easy in and out piece in the middle and was priced well but thats the problem the inside piece is too easy to come out. Every time I would try to use it with the hole it would just pull out. Your supposed to turn it to lock into place, like a bobbin in a sewing machine, problem is it just doesn't seem to work with sticky donut dough. It's a great design, will probably work ok for biscuits or cookies if your dough is chilled. I did try spraying it and dipping in flour but it was too much trouble, so I'll look for another one.
Received item unlike item ordered. Ordered Norpro 3 "biscuit" cutters, 2-1/4" - 3-1/2 " diameter, received biscuit/donut cutt er.
