These tires were placed on a 2017 Nissan Rogue. Previously I had a set of Michelin Premier LTX. (very expensive tires) Since this is now our secondary vehicle I chose to go a more inexpensive route, and pulled the trigger on a set of Douglas Touring A/S that were on rollback. I'm very picky on tires. These tires ride smooth, and have zero vibration on the highway. Essentially, the ride quality is the same or better than the Michelin's I had.
Wowza - wish I would have purchased these Douglas Touring All-Season Tires earlier. This was a superb value since I was on a tight budget. It's great to not hear lots of road noise now that I have these tires. The service was quick - only 2 hours for all 4 tires. Ride comfort is so much better now, and I feel safer. We got the snow storm today, and before it started too bad, I drove my car to the grocery store, and loved the solid, good traction I felt. So yes, indeed - I would highly recommend these tires.
Great set of tires for all around driving down in the south. Quiet and good traction on wet roads and no hydroplaning with good tread depth. Rubber does not last as long as they state in their specs but it does last about 3/4 of that mileage and still has tread depth to use on dry pavement.
I recommend the tires, but I don't recommend the service. They installed the tires in the wrong place, and the tire protectors were either never put on or were put on incorrectly and went missing. Since it was nighttime, I couldn't properly inspect the work. It's inconvenient having to keep an eye on the work of a service that's supposed to be professional. Bad service.
Horrible EXPERIENCE EVER!!! My appointment was at 4pm I checked in at 339pm...I only needed a passenger front tire. I left at 733pm WITH A 4pm APPOINTMENT. NO COMMUNICATION at all. My time is valuable. IF you were short staff you could have communicated that to me. I could have rescheduled, but to disregard my time and other things that I neede to take cate of was just disappointing. There was 2 other ladies after me that had appointments with similar issues. Please be more considerate of your customers time and please COMMUNICATION. Horrible experience
If I could put zero stars I would don't ever get your tires don't at 5001 Taylor Rd Punta Gorda, FL 33950 United States They are scammers I have been dealing with for almost two weeks and never got my tires put on but yet they charged me for them and said I received them now I have to go up there an argue with them because they keep hanging on me when I'm being very respectful
Date code on one of the two tires was 0916 (ninth month of 2016) meaning the tire sold was TEN (10) years old. The other tire was manufactured in 2023. The seller should be ashamed for selling such outdated merchandise. Did not notice till after the installer mounted the tires. The seller should be barred from selling through Walmart. Totally dissatisfied with purchase and seller is unethical.
these tires degrade so easily that within two weeks of purchase the tire is lost significant traction, the tread looked Like it was coming apart in pieces, and this is not a one-off thing. I will not buy a Douglas again. they look like second hand tires to begin with brand new. it doesn't matter if you replace all four at one time. make sure you rotate them and everything does not increase the longevity and have to be $100 a tire is so misleading because I get better use out of a $25 used tire that I've ever gotten out of Douglas touring.
Do not get any tires installed at Walmart, in Brier Creek, Raleigh NC. First of all I had a scheduled appointment, which my car did not get in the bay until over 2.5 hours due to lack of staffing. I had paid for all new tires, with installation, and upon getting the tires and when getting ready to drive off, noticed tire warning lights for all tires on ; I pulled back in, called the technician to put the correct tire pressure for each tire; technician claimed my sensor was wrong?? Pulled out my digital tire pump and tire pressure matched what the warning lights indicated. Questioned technician if she had balanced the tires, which she stated she had balanced and adjusted the pressure. I had technician put correct air pressure in each tire; After driving on tires for a couple of weeks, noted front tire didn't feel right. Went to Firestone for them to check the pressure and it was discovered that Walmart technician had not put 3 lug nuts on to secure the tire, and 1 lug nut had not been placed on another tire. Firestone manager explained the danger of it; I called Walmart, while at Fire Stone to report what happened, spoke with whomever answered and explained what happened, afterwards was put on hold for 15 min before I hung up and which I then recalled. No one answered the phone. I am now in process of dealing with Corporate in regards severity of this. I would not recommend this store to anyone!!!!
I have been buying this brand of tire from this Walmart for probably 10 years and they always were really good priced and really good quality tires. So this time I just got on with the size and seen they had that brand and bought them I didn't go into specifications until last night after picking them up and then have an import on. The tread are a different pattern then what they were before and there's only half the tread on them compared to what they used to have. They didn't have much more tread on them brand new than what I was taking off. And they were terrible in 2 in of snow. So I'm going to return them and I already bought another set of tires from the same Walmart and going to have them put on. I think this Walmart does good service with what they have to work with. Thank you
