I have naturally curly thick layered long hair. This product works wonder for my type hair and I'm 50 years old too! What I do with product to bring out my naturally culy hair is put it in my hair when it is dry. I leave it in my dry hair for about 15-20 minutes then I wash my hair using a conditioner only product other than this one. I leave my towel on my hair for a good 10 minutes and bam the curly hair is more curly. I let it air dry. This products works well for my hair type and age!

The picture is right after the first use and air drying. I also just used a bit of mousse since I knew I was going to be air drying. This really helped bring my curls back

its works ok but. i think if it have like a leave in that actually helps lock the curls back in after giving a little grooming with the maks would works even better for us curly hair girl

I was sent the wrong product but was able to use this hair mask. It is made for curly hair, which I have. I really like it! It made my hair soft not weighed down. I don't know if it added a lot of shine to my hair, but to be fair I didn't use any other products afterwards. My hair did smell good and it felt great. I could see definition of my curls. I will use this again as a deep mask, but I still need to use some sort of serum on my hair while it is damp to keep my hair from becoming frizzy.
