Dove Nutritive Solutions Shampoo Intensive Repair, 20.4 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE This line of products! I have thyroid problems so my hair gets severely dry and brittle. Since I have been using the Intensive Repair line my hair is smooth and soft again. The tube of hair treatment is my favorite! Thank you Dove for finally coming up with SOMETHING that will WORK!!!

This shampoo leaves my hair VERY soft and it leaves it smelling great, ive always had trouble managing my hair because it is very damaged and just hard to tame but this shampoo and the conditioner have helped it so much! i dont think im going to ever buy a different brand of shampoo and conditioner again.

Then my hair stylist was talking to me about what I should maybe look into (talking about Dove) I was just amazed how much she said it worked on her hair too that I just had to try it.. Ever since I bought this product off the shelf I've never tried another Company's product cause how great it has worked for me... Dove has found a way to work great quality and price together to make a great product and I recommend this product to all my friends and family when they are shopping for new hair product or just complaining about their hair.. I even got my boyfriend a construction worker to use Dove and he is the type that uses nasty cheap stuff and he loves what has happened to his hair.. They all have fell in love with this product also :) so I would highly recommend everyone to try all the Dove products... YOU WILL LOVE THEM!!!! :)

I have a thyroid disease that causes me to have very dry hair and skin. Recently I made a change because my hair seemed to be getting worse and worse. I switched to Dove Intensive Repair as a complete product line switch due to hearing for a good portion of my life that Dove was "one-quarter moisturizing." I hoped that it would help obviously! I started using these products (the intensive repair shampoo & conditioner) on Sept 7th. As of today Sept 22nd, I have seen a huge reduction in damaged hair ends (I'd say approx 10-15% compared to what it was). I am also using much less product to clean the same amount of hair. Despite costing more, the relative cost I would say is not much different. I am a very happy customer for life!

It's gentle on my hair, makes my hair feel so soft after all the damage I do to my hair after heat styling. I have yet to find anything better and I hope I don't because this shampoo is great!

Dear Dove, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for this product. Even though I probably don't exactly need intensive care for my hair as I've never really used harsh chemicals on it, your product still makes my head so happy. First, it makes my long, thick, wavy hair so soft and silky. I haven't had to get a hair cut in over 4 months. I even shower at night, and the morning brings luscious bouncing waves and easy to manage hair. Second, and most importantly, my hair smells like heaven. Sometimes I'll turn my head quickly and catch a whiff of pure joy. Five minutes later I realize I'm still holding my strands to my nose, and I look like I'm losing my mind. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ACTUALLY PURCHASED THIS ITEM ON ACCIDENT BUT IT WAS THE BEST ACCIDENT THAT I HAVE EVER CAME ACROSS. I HAVE DRY AND DAMAGED HAIR DUE TO OVER PROCESSING. I ALSO HAVE DANDRUFF BUT THIS SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER HAS HELPED WITH ALL MY PROBLEMS .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I always read reviews before buying something and I had seen a lot of good reviews on this. Also, many long haired YouTube guru's had recommended this shampoo or other Dove shampoos. So I decided to try it for myself. It claims to reconstruct internally, stop split ends and breakage. "95% fewer split ends"... Well, let me tell you... It really does work! My hair is very long and very thick. Almost down to my bellybutton. I had gotten a trim recently and haven't trimmed it in a LONG TIME. Like, months... Maybe close to 6 months or more... The stylist asked me, "How long has it been since you have cut your hair?!" And I told her close to about 6 months. She was shocked, needless to say. She said that I had barely any split ends at all... and she said all that was needed to be trimmed was half an inch only! My boyfriend even noticed my hair looked like it got longer and looked healthier. Probably because it prevents it from splitting and keeps it healthy so it's able to grow faster instead of breaking off. I recently had dyed my hair also, previous to my trim... I had picked up some Garnier Fructis Color Shield shampoo and conditioner, and that stuff... I did not like. The shampoo dried my hair out so badly! It felt like straw when it used to feel like silk when I was using Dove... I finished the shampoo, and even squirted a bunch down the drain because I didn't want to keep using it and I finished off the conditioner. I went back to the Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner, and even with color treated hair, my hair felt AMAZING and very soft and silky. I'm not sure if it's safe for color treated hair but, my color doesn't come out much now, not nearly as much as Garnier made it come out. And the Color Shield was specifically made for color treated hair which really shocked me that it actually made it bleed color more! Either way, this is my go-to product. I have tried other high end brands in the past... Matrix, organic shampoos, keratin products and shampoos and conditioners that you can buy in the salon or at Ulta, and they just don't compare. Dove is the best... Please don't discontinue this! I will be SO disappointed! This is the best shampoo I have ever tried and it doesn't leave a nasty film on my hair or a residue, and doesn't suffocate the scalp either! Plus, Dove's regular body washes and soaps are dermatologists #1 choice and best for skin, so I figure, if they're good for the skin on your body, then the shampoos are probably made equal and they're good for the skin on your head, A.K.A scalp, as well! I absolutely love it! And definitely recommend everyone to try it! Heck, even my boyfriend now uses Dove hair care for Men, that's how compelled he was to try their products after seeing the condition of my hair after using it! All I have to say is, Dove is Love. ! :)

This shampoo and the conditioner saved my hair! Before using this product my hair was awful looking, dry as a bone and frizzy. My hair growth had also seemed like it just came to a halt. Started using the shampoo and conditioner and my hair was insistently softer and shiner and was making my hair grow like crazy! It makes me so excited as I get to see my hair grow. It definitely helps repair damaged hair from straightened and dyeing often.

After using this product twice my hair has a plastic like feel to it. Its sticky and leaves a residue on my hands when I run them through my hair. I've washed my hair 4 times in two days with my regular shampoo and it still smells like the dove product and has the residue. I cant seem to get it out.
